[ Hopefully the only chapter I have to warn people about, there will be some descriptions of injuries. That should be it and I will tell you when the warning starts! ]

Tommy didn’t know when, but he started to keep track of his friends actions and personalities. He learned birthdays, likes, dislikes, everything he could. Because when he went home, he knew he wouldn’t see any of them for a while. It hurt, sure, but he would try his hardest to make them happy.

While Tommy was always surrounded by them, he also enjoyed being alone and reading every now and then. So, after the first week, when he was shown the library, he smiled and started to read the books inside. That's when he found something, something he didn’t like. It was a book about the ‘ender curses of the world’. It was an old-looking book with a brown cover and yellowish-white pages. Some pages were torn, others ripped and some words messed up from water damage. It intrigued Tommy to read the book to himself, confused at the idea of curses in the world.

[ Like mentioned above, this is where some mentions of injury occur, while it's not too frequent I think I should mention it here just in case. If they're is any more trigger warnings I should add, please let me know! ]

In this book, I will be listing curses found or caused by enderman and enderman hybrids. The following will be highly dangerous to least dangerous, in that order.

To begin, The Ender Dragon Curse, as I like to call it, is a highly dangerous curse and caused by the infestation of another highly dangerous curse I call The Enderman Curse. Among the spells and potions, it is one of the few ways to cheat death, yet both humans and monsters are affected. It is caused when a human is near death and an enderman helps them out in a process I will explain in a moment. The resulting enderman turns into something unheard of and is an outcast due to helping the human out, something forbidden by its kind. The human, however, survives the endeavor without a single scratch. Yet, due to the enderman changing, the human has cursed into an enderman hybrid themselves.

The process of an enderman saving a human is dangerous, yet possible. Enderman is made of two main components that help their everyday survival. A heart to produce a purple liquid their bodies need to stay alive and an ender pearl is used to help them travel. The enderman must remove the pearl, causing itself to be unable to teleport, and put it in the human through the wound. The wound will heal like magic, yet the human cannot teleport either. This results in the human and enderman’s form changing and the enderman to run. Yet, the two still resemble what they once were. We call these new forms hybrids.

If a human with The Enderman Curse helps another human life, they will suffer one of two fates. The first being death to save the other, the most common of the two. Or, they will suffer The Ender Dragon Curse. It’s almost impossible, keyword being almost. If one falls victim to the curse, the human will be stuck in that form until slain. If a human is slain holding a totem of undying, the human can turn normal again. If the cursed doesn’t do this and instead decides to live out their lives, any human born from the parent will be forced into this curse.

If a human encounters a shulker, one is only found in the End Dimension and gets too close to the shulker it attacks. The shulker has two forms of attack, one for long-ranged and one for enemies that are too close for comfort. The long-ranged attack is a glowing ball that, if hit with, will result in the human being slowly lifted in the air. The close-ranged attack is for those who attempt to peel the shell off the shulker and don’t kill it. The shulker will bite the human causing it to, if not treated with a Mundane and Thick potion, spread and slowly turn the human into a shulker itself. The human will lose all sense of self and become what it tried to kill.

The final recorded curse of the End Dimension is a Silverfish Curse. The silverfish, while not found naturally in the end, are native to the portals that protect the portal room. The silverfish will attempt to bite the victim, which does nothing. It’s the silverfish born with an infection, causing it to climb on the human instead of bite. If the silverfish makes it to the human's neck, it will bite down and administer a poison that can’t be reversed. The silverfish dies and the human’s skin turns grey, their eyes look almost dead, and small little spikes start to grow out of their skin. After all, is achieved in a pain-filled week, the human falls asleep and never wakes up.

[ End of possible trigger warning, like I said if they're any I missed let me know! ]

Tommy was mainly creeped out, but he saw the first curse, the one that can be changed. Tommy wanted to see if that’s what happened to his mother, if that it was a curse and he could change it. Because, if these supposed heroes wanted to kill her for being herself, then more have tried and will.

Tommy had to try to fix this, in any way he could. Because he knew he couldn’t protect his mother forever.
