Chapter 13

Micah's POV.

After coming back from school, I was outside my door, taking a minute to cover the love bite given by Calvin as a parting gift.

I unlocked my phone and took a careful look on me by opening the front camera. Before checking everything for the 5th time.

I mustered courage and opened the front door, I pull down the handle, the door opens with a click sound and I felt a strange aura coming from the inside.

That was weird. I could hear Parker chating with someone. I walked to the kitchen carefully. I saw Parker near fridge, leaning on it while fondly talking to girl who was making something in the pot. Wait a minute! That's Sophie.

You dumbass! How can you forget about this?

I mentally slapped myself, Parker told me that today Sophie will be having dinner with us. " Hey " I said awkwardly, grabbing their attention.

I rub my arm while standing their awkwardly before both of them turned to me. " Oh Hey there " she spoke politely.

" You must be Micah. Parker's baby brother. " She said as she marched forward to shake hands with me.

" Well, except the word baby , yes I'm his brother and you must be Sophie. " I said. Both of them chuckled.

She stick her hand out and I shook it with mine. " Your brother talks a lot about and just to be clear you don't have to feel ashamed with being you know...... Yourself. " She said as she was trying to get to a point and I knew what that point was.

" I know and thanks. " I replied. " No worries. " She replied with a smile before going back to the stove, continuing making what she was making.

Parker gave her a kiss on the cheek before coming to me. " So, how's she? " He whispered making sure she didn't heard.

Honestly, she was quite nice and I didn't seems to be have any problem with her. " She's great. Nice choice Parker." I commented making Parker blush.

" Oh my god, you got something on you cheeks. Oh wait, they are blushing." I said with a smirk on my face.

" Shut up! " He said as he give me a slight push. " So, where's Dalton? " I asked him.

He frowned. " I texted him about Sophie and begged him not to do anything stupid infront of her. But you know Dalton "

I nodded and rubbed his back to console him. Seriously, it would be so mch embarrassing having your girlfriend home for the first time and showing her how broken our family is.

" Don't worry. Let's just pray that Dalton don't do something stupid " I said and then three of us begin to chat about petty stuff. It was good actually, having her in the house, It almost felt like we were complete as a family.

Soon, the front door opened revealing Dalton coming straight to the kitchen. He gazed upon me with disappointment, like he's any less. Sophie walked to him in the same way like she did to me.

To both mine and Parker's surprise. He responded really well. " Atleast there's someone in the house who's man enough to love a girl. "

Parker was about to respond to it when I stopped him. I didn't wanted to make a scene in front of her so, instead its better this way.

Then all four of us sat down on the table in a way that Parker was sitting next to me while Dalton was sitting opposite to him and Sophie was sitting in between Parker and Dalton.

" This is really delicious. " I complimented as I took a sip of the soup she made for us. " Thank you honey. " She said and smiled.

All four of us ate our food while talking and all of us tried from our sides, not to make a scene.

Once we were done, I helped Sophie cleaned up while Parker took Dalton outside to have a talk about something in which I wasn't interested at all.

She was doing the dishes while I was cleaning the table. " That was fun right? " She said.

I nodded " yeah, it surely was. "

She turned off the tap and turned to me. " Your brother cares a lot about you and Dalton. That's something you don't get to see in men at his age. " She admitted " And I love him because of that. He isn't a guy who just cares about himself but his brothers. "

" You also mean a great deal to him. I am glad that he brought you home today. "  I admitted.

" Listen Sophie, please don't break my brother's heart. It's just I can't see him that way. I hope you know what I mean. " I said as I was playing with my fingers.

She gently smiled at me and said, " don't worry I will never do it. "

With that she and Parker left. Parker was out to take Sophie home. Dalton followed them and left.

I unlocked my phone only to see a text of Ryan. He was inviting me for a party at 7. That was something that got me nervous because you see I never went to a party and this would be the first time.

I look at the time mentioned in the message and then on the clock it was almost 7. I should've checked my messages earlier.

I waited for Parker to come home. I won't go without his permission. Soon, Parker was home.

" Hey, Parker can I go to a party? " I asked him and he looked at me in complete shock. " You want to go where? "

" Parker you heard me. Can I go? " I said as I rolled my eyes on him. " Sure, if you want to. " He said and I went to my room to get dressed.

When I opened the front door to leave, Parker interrupted me, " Call me if you need anything okay? " He said as he got into his all big brotherly mode.

I nodded and left for the party. While I was getting dressed, I got a text from Calvin saying he won't be there with me. So, it will be just me and Ryan, depending on whether he wanna spent time with me or not.

I look on the address for the 10th time and looked at the house infront me. Correction not house but mansion. It was filled with people and loud music was coming from inside.

I gulped hard and thought about running away from there, I turned around to run but I heard someone calling me from behind.

" Micah! You're finally here " it was Ryan, he said as he walked out to me, with a cup of drink in his hand.

He wrapped his arm around me and pull me to his house. He reeks of alcohol. His hallway rather his whole house was crowded with teenagers and high schoolers.

He took me to his living room, where the music was playing loud and loads of teenagers were dancing. Ryan waved his hands in the air, like he was giving a signal to someone.

He left me there and took some steps forward, I didn't knew what was happening until I felt something stick falling on me andy entire body was covered in that.

" What is this? " I said as I was running my hand all over my body, trying to get it off. Instead two teenagers came behind me and splashed glitter, pink glitter on me.

The music stopped and everybody's attention were on me. I looked at Ryan who recorded everything, in complete disbelief, he gave me a sinister smile and behind him emerged Caleb.

" This is what happens to faggots! Now where's your boyfriend, Calvin? " Caleb said with an evil smirk.

All the teenagers begin to chant faggot! Faggot! Faggot! I couldn't stopped myself from breaking down into tears. They were recording everything and laughing their asses off like it was a comedy show.

I decided to run away from there. I turned around to run, but had my way blocked by Caleb's minions, who also splashed that glitter.

" Going somewhere? " They said with a smirk. I had a really gut feeling that something worst was going happen if I don't get out of her soon.

" Let him go! " I heard a familiar voice  I turned around to see him coming out of the crowd.

What is he doing here?
