5. Maybe He's not the One

"I'm starting to think, maybe he's not the one." - Destiny

Jordan's POV (present time)

"Isa?" I was confused, he doesn't go to this school? "Shush!" He smacked his hand across my mouth. "We need to be quiet in case Asher comes!" He stamped one of his feet and I grabbed his hand and took it off my mouth. "Okay." I whispered. "What is it? Why are you here?" I questioned, it was a little random seeing him show up.

He let out the biggest sigh ever. "Look, you know how Asher and Wyatt have that plan to share you?" He started, I already knew this would be bad. "Mhm." I said slowly. He told me that Asher managed to convince their parents to move here and to this school because he wants me all to himself? Wow. I mean, I love how their so obsessed with me but that's a little extreme.

"I mean, I'm not going to let either of them date me, now." I said and he cocked an eyebrow at me. "Aren't you dating Wyatt?" He asked and I chuckled. "I am, but not for much longer." I started, he seemed confused. "Where is he? I need to go break up with him." I smiled and Isa smirked. "I think he's with Asher."

We left the closet and back out to the reception. Chris still wasn't here which worried me even more but Wyatt and Asher were.

I started going up to them but realized Isa wasn't following me. "You coming?" I asked, he shook his head then done the hand signal to tell me to go over. "What?" I went back over to him. "Tayler and Destiny." He pointed to them, I scrunched up my face in confusion. "What?" I questioned and he looked into my eyes then went down to my ear.

"He's cheating on her." He said, this was the one time I didn't believe him. "No he's not." I told him but he tilted his head and gave me a 'are you sure' look. "How is he?" I asked and he pointed to some blonde girl who was with Parker. "You see her?" He asked and I looked at him still confused. "Yeah?" He smirked at me again.

"When Tayler moved to where I lived before Asher decided to make us move," He started. "Tayler hung out with her, her name's Sophie and my oh my is she a selfish little-" I cut him off because I couldn't believe what he was saying. "Your saying Tayler would cheat on Destiny with that thing?" I looked over at her and he nodded. "Surprisingly yes." He said.

I couldn't believe it but at the same time it did make sense. I do recall Destiny and Chris telling us that they saw Tayler with some other girl but I swear they said it was Dela. But maybe that girl was there as well. I wasn't going to forget about it, I'm going to talk to Stella about it before I mention anything to Destiny. I know how fragile she is.

I walked up to Asher and Wyatt, this time with Isa following. They said hi to me and Asher gave Isa a strange look, probably curious on why he was talking to me. Before I could say anything to Wyatt, the bell rang.

We went off to classes which I felt bad for Stella because she said she was with Ryder and they were working together. I didn't have any classes with Wyatt, instead I had them with Tayler. Maybe I could ask him about what Isa said? I knew I could work out if he was lying or not when Parker walked in with the girl Tayler's allegedly cheating on Destiny with.

The girl sat in front of Tayler which was great. I was also at the front but from the other side of her. The teacher asked the kid who was sitting beside Tayler got asked a question so it was the perfect opportunity to stare at Tayler and see if he likes that girl.

I turned around to see him just looking at the dude next to him. I was staring at Tayler and then I felt my chair get kicked from someone behind me. "Stop staring at him." I turned around to see Parker, not him. "Shut up, f-boy." I told him, then the class went silent. "Pay attention, don't start speaking." The teacher said and I rolled my eyes to Parker and I saw him smirk. I still hate him and will never forgive him.

Stella's POV

I was sitting in science and i'm with Ryder. We're working on the project we started yesterday and he's just sitting there. "Ryder! Help me with this!" I snapped at him and he leaned back on his chair and put his arms around his head. "No, you do it for me." He told me and I kicked one of his chair legs which made him almost fall off. "Oi!" He hit my arm but I just hit him harder.

It went back and forth of us arguing but in kind of a playful way, it stopped when the classroom door flew open. "I need to borrow Stella please!" I heard Jordan's voice say and my head snapped to her's. The teacher let me go and I left Ryder.

We stood outside the classroom and Jordan crossed her arms. I shrugged my shoulders. "Were you flirting with Ryder?" She asked me and my eyes got bigger. "No." I said, to be honest I don't know if I was. "I'm going to annoy you about that later because I think your lying but right now we need to go check on Destiny!" She exclaimed, what's wrong with her now?

"Why?" I asked, she grabbed my arm and pulled me over to the stairs. "She heard that Tayler was cheating on her-" I cut her off. "He's cheating on her!" I exclaimed and she nodded quickly. "Yup." She said. "How do you know?" I didn't know if she was lying or not. "Isa told me and at first I didn't believe him but when I was in class with Tayler, I know that Isa's telling the truth." She said, I was so confused. "Who's he cheating with?" I asked. "Some girl called Sophie." She said.

"Who?" I asked. "Some blonde girl, I don't know but apparently he's been cheating for a long time." She said, I didn't think Tayler would do that. There was no way, they were so in love with each other that it would be crazy if he did. But you never know. "What's up with you and Isa anyway?" I questioned, I wanted to know why they were so close. "What do you mean?" She asked confused. "You guys are so close!" I said and she huffed. "Now's not the time to explain, we need to check on Destiny." She said, that's when I knew that something definitely was happening when she said 'now's not the time'.

I asked her where Destiny even was and she told me the bathrooms. We ran down to check on her and as soon as we walked in we heard her crying.

"Destiny, open up." Jordan kicked the door of the stall she was in. "No, go away!" Destiny cried. "Destiny, talk to us." I said and we heard the door unlock. Jordan opened it and we saw her curled up on the floor. "I wouldn't sit in here if I were you." I said looking at the floor. "I don't care." Destiny sobbed.

Me and Jordan looked at her, worried. "Talk to us." Jordan said and Destiny looked up. "Tayler's cheating on me!" She cried even more. It was heart breaking to think that they were the most perfect couple and now we find out, he's been cheating on her for a while. "We don't know if it's true." I tried to comfort her. "It probably is." She looked at her phone which had missed calls from Tayler. "Why would he do that!" She raised her voice to us and me and Jordan looked at each other, clueless. "Destiny, don't believe it just yet," Jordan started. "Tayler could be crying as well over the fact that you think he cheated. You never know, don't give up hope." She continued, Destiny looked around, trying to get words.

"But I don't know! Our relationship hasn't been the same as it use to be for a while." She cried even more, me and Jordan were worried. "I'm starting to think, maybe he's not the one." She cried and my heart broke for her.

They have been dating for almost a year but they act like they've been dating forever. They seemed so perfect for each other, but maybe she's right. Maybe he isn't the one.

We heard the door burst open and then footsteps. Destiny looked back down before the person got to us. Me and Jordan looked at them, our jaw dropped. "Dest?"
