chapter 12: let's talk, or fuck

I couldn't sleep all night, I had Helena beside me and that felt awsome, but I couldn't stop thinking about what she had said before I left. I had forgiven her for the anniversary ordeal but I hadn't forgiven her for what she said.
Flash back
"Helena I can't believe you went and made a media deal out if this, have you seen the tabloids?!"
I'm sorry!"
"Sorry doesn't fix it!"
"Well what else am I supposed to do? Make you rewrite the Bible and cut your shoulders?!"
That part really hurt. She knew how hard it was for me to tell her that, she knew how hard it was to live with that, and to use it like that? Damn that hurt. Before I knew it there was light peeping through the curtains in our bedroom and I could feel helena moving about beside me.
"Good morning darling" she said her voice still raspy.
"Mmm" I grunted, I wasn't sure I made the right decision coming back yesterday. She sat up as she could tell something wasn't right.

"I- i- i couldn't believe it when I said that, I didn't mean it." She said quietly almost in a whisper.
"You cannot mean as much as you want but you still said it" I said in a whisper.
"I know I did, I know, I know, I know I know! And I'm so sorry" she almost started to break down.
"What can I do to make it up to you baby" her voice wavering as she said it. I leaned in closer to her as I whispered into her ear...
"I don't know what can you do, mommy. " Her whole body tensed up at my last remark, but then she smirked and turned to face me.
"Don't you dare try me, little slut."
"Oh yeah? And what's gonna happen if I do?" At these words she flipped me over onto my back and topped me.
