A Dream's Nightmare

"I was supposed to grow here as a flower but it turns out I was becoming a weed. I thought I was going the right way, but that was just all in my head. I dreamed of running away from nightmares, but it turned out the reality is the real nightmare of it all."

"The investigation will continue. May, If you really want to prove your innocent you just have to tell me the truth. Both Professor Karen and Professor Eric met You, Lizie and Jordan on the night of their death and on the same place where they died. This couldn't just be a coincidence, is it?" The sat across May. "Tell me how did you met your not so called friend Lizie and Jordan that night?"

"What I remembered was running from fear, I am not even sure what it was, maybe it could be because of the darkness surrounding me, or the cold wind breeze passing over my body, or the sound of silence that I could even hear my own breath, my own foot steps and my own heart beat. The moment I was away from the woods, I then saw Lizie who looked scared than I was.

Lizie told me to get in the car anxiously; when I got in the Car, Jordan was there. I asked them where we are going and they were all just silent. I know something was wrong. Later on, Lizie Broke in tears. I tried to comfort her but she just brush me away.

"This is all on you" she yelled at me.

"Stop it, Lizie" Jordan said.

Then they suddenly drop me off the road in front of the school like I was nothing. They were all mad and fighting. But I heard what Lizie said before I got off the car." "

"What did you hear?"

"She said: We have to keep her in silence. Then, I saw them entered the campus so I followed them."

On the other hand, another investigation was being conducted with Jordan.

"Jordan, could you please tell us how your watch was was found next to the dead body of Karen"

"I swear I didn't kill her!"

"Calm down!"

"It was not me! Lizie...Lizie killed her!"

"Your saying your girlfriend killed her?"

"She was about to die when I pushed her. I was just trying to rescue Lizie from her but I didn't mean to push her that hard. She tried to hold on to me and I tried to hold on to her too that's why my watch fell with her."

"You said, she was about to die when you pushed her; what do you mean by that?"

"Lizie..." Jordan started crying. "Lizie killed her. She was mad at her for a lot of reasons.

The school was all empty because of the vacation. It was all so quiet that when we opened the door, we could hear its creaking sound. The school was huge but somehow it's suffocating.

"Let's just go back."

"Are you scared? "

"Okay, Lizie! Let's go."

"She have to pay. It's all her fault. She shouldn't have--" suddenly we noticed a sound on the east area of the first-floor so we both run toward it but no one was there. We went up the second floor even with the darkness around.

"Let's try to find her separately." Lizie suggested.

"No, let's stay together."

"Search the teachers room! I'll search the other other side of the building."

I went to the teachers room and tried to light up the room with my phone. I couldn't even recognize the cubicles of the room because of the darkness. I entered discreetly thinking someone might be on the cubicles. I noticed someone was typing. I slowly moved closer to the cubicles but no one was there, it was the table of Karen. I went closer to the computer. Someone has just used it; the mouse was still warm. I tried to check the only folder that was displayed on the desktop. Then suddenly a hand grab mine.

"What are you doing!"

"May? Why are you here?"

She just glared at me that I could melt any moment by now.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" We heard a scream from the other side of the building. Suspiciously, the guard didn't even noticed that, though it felt so loud that the whole world could hear that.

We ran toward Room-0 where the sound was coming but the door was locked. Only Karen and Lizie was in there. Karen was holding a long blade scissor and pointing it out to Lizie. I run to the other door but it was also locked.

"Shut up! You were angry because he choose me over a stupid girl like you! You think he likes you? You offered yourself to him in exchange for a good grade. You preferred to keep your name of being the mayor's daughter but not your dignity as a woman! You're a waste!" Karen yelled at Lizie.

"Says the one cheating on her husband with Professor Eric!"

Karen then rushed and tried to sway the scissor in Lizie's face but she missed it.

"Lizie!" I wanted to rescue her so I tried banging the door, May then rushed to get the keys from the Teachers' Office.

"As if you didn't cheated on him! You seduced Eric and claimed that he raped you just to asked forgiveness from your boyfriend. Looked what you have done!"

I was shocked of what I heard. Did Lizie really lied to me?

Lizie throwed a chair to her making Karen fell to the ground. Karen tried to stand but Lizie climbed on top of Karen and tried to choke her. Karen was able to grab the scissor back and made a scratched on Lizies arm. Lizie yelled in pain.

May was trying to search every key she got with her, and I was just kicking the other door as I couldn't wait anymore.

As Karen stood up, Lizie grab unto her leg that made Karen fell to the ground which has broken pieces of the vase on it. Lizie then dragged her with the broken pieces of vase digging unto Karen's flesh.

"I'm not going to kill you!" Lizie let go of her. Instead, Karen attacked Lizie with the scissor and they both fell to the floor with Karen on top of Lizie. There was silence among them.

I was shouting and kicking the door. Later on, May was able to find the right Key and we were able to get in. I run toward them. I noticed Karen wasn't moving and Lizie was crying while still Karen was on top of her.

I slowly moved Karen's body and it revealed that Lizie was holding the scissor with Karen's blood on it.

Lizie was silently crying unto the floor. I tried to comfort her and got her up.

"We have to call ambulance!" May said.

"No, we have to escape now!"

May checked on Karen. "Guys? She's alive!"

Karen sat up while holding her wound. All of us was just standing in front of her, watching her in horror.

Karen stood up even when in pain. "It's not over yet!"
