4 years later

Orian

“Sorry, I am sorry!” he says fixing his tie.

“It's fine Axel, I know you are there for work,” I tell him, adjusting the screen so he can see me.

“Tomorrow is our anniversary but I couldn't be there, I promised you,” he murmured sadly.

“It's okay, we will celebrate when you are back,” I assure him with a smile but still I feel a little sad.

“Yes, I will back in two days, an-

“Sir the clients are waiting"

He groans in frustration and looks at me with sad eyes.

“Go, even I am leaving for work,” I tell him.

“Okay, take care. Don't stay out late at night and punch the guy who tries to flirt with you,” he tells me.

“Of course, I will stay away from your secretary or I will come there and kill her first then you,” I warn him and he kisses the screen multiple times then hangs up.

I stand and shut my laptop, slipping on the boots I leave for work. I work as a personalized hacker for a huge company. Axel didn't let me give up my dream, he supported me. I wanted to be a hacker in the defense force but not in France, so I joined the company when they offered me good pay and facilities.

The past three years with Axel were like a roller coaster of emotions. At first, it was very difficult since I was not aware of anything over here. Axel put me in college to continue my studies, he didn't let me waste a year. He was having a hard time in the company as well. He had so much to learn, he would stay in the office sometimes and come home very late. In three years we worked hard to achieve what we want, Axel became more interested in business and took over it, Luke decided to fulfill his dream of becoming a dancer and established a dance academy. We fought many times in frustration but we solved the arguments the same night. It's the foremost rule between us that we won't go to bed mad at each other.

Once he was drunk and by mistake went to the neighbor's house. He was banging the door like a crazy person, then the neighbor's son came to call me and I fetch my boyfriend.

“Why are you so drunk today?” I asked as I carry his stumbling body to our bedroom.

“I- I was drinking little but I drank a lot,” he giggles. I shake my head and made him sit on the bed. I remove his shoes and socks, then the blazer. When I was removing his tie, he hugged my waist.

I ruffled his hair, “What happen Axel?”

“I was feeling guilty,” he muttered

“Why?”

“Cause, some time ago there your mother's death anniversary and you couldn't visit her grave. I know you miss all our friends, I feel like I took a lot of things away from you,” he hugged me tighter.

“Axel, it's true that I miss them. But I am happy with you. Don't feel guilty. You didn't take anything from me you gave me a lot of things,” I told him softly.

He lifts his head to look at me with babyface, I peck his lips and he falls on the bed with me in his arms.

“Yeah, don't sleep, come on you need to eat,” I tried to wriggle out of his grip.

“I want to eat you instead,” he whispered kissing my lips. I kiss him back but pull away after a while. He whines trying to kiss me again.
