Today was the start of the break, I didn't know what to expect because normally more than half the school leaves for break but since the ball is happening only 3 years and under went home. I wanted to dress shopping with Hermione and Ginny but their mom's were sending them dresses. So I went dress shopping with Angelina Johnson and Katie Bell, Alicia was going to come but she wanted to do it on her own without me.
So that day we went to Madam Malkins dress shop to get fitted and find our dresses. We were trying to find a dress for Angelina first, she tried on this pink very puffy dress and said that the didn't like the puffiness, so next we found a pink tighter dress. "I don't want pink, it doesn't look good on my skin tone." I didn't mind that she was being picky this was her chance to impress a guy she liked. We soon found a purple skin tight dress and she said it was perfect.
Next it was Katie's turn to find a dress, it didn't take her awhile to find a dress she loved. She tried on the first one she saw and it was this light blue dress with lots of lace detail. She fell in love with this dress and didn't want to try on any other ones.
Next was my turn, I didn't know what I wanted. I tried on a dress similar to Angelina's dress and did not like how it hugged my body, it felt like I couldn't move. Then I tried this other one on but this one was this weird purple one I just tried on for the fun of it. I tried on like 5 more dresses until I found the perfect one.

After we all and payed for our dresses we went to get a butterbeer, we had such a great time hanging out together I couldn't believe what fun I had.
The next 2 day's were chill we just hung out in the common room playing games and reading. The next day was the yule ball, all of the girls in the school were super excited and couldn't stop talking about their dresses and their dates.
I was excited but didn't care to talk about it was too much to hear people's opinions. I was in the common room enjoying by book when Hermione came up behind me and scared me. "What are you up too?" she asked sitting down, "I was reading before interrupted me" I said giving her a smile. "So who's your date to the ball then, assuming you got a date."
I giggled and said "Oh I have a date and you'll just have to wait and see who it is." she gave me the puppy dog eye begging for me to tell her who it was but she didn't beg for the answer. "So how's Mr. Krum?" I ask nudging her getting her to smile and blush.
"Well, he had asked me to the ball but I said no hoping Ron would ask me. After a week or something he had asked me again and I told him no again. After Ron didn't ask me I decided I would say yes, he didn't give up on asking me which was weird but comforting at the same time. So Krum is good thank you very much."
"YOU LIKE RON??" I yelled, luckily for me no one was in the common room. But even though no one was there Hermione didn't care and hit me with her book telling me to be quiet and not tell everyone in the whole school.
