Ayanokouji Kiyotaka
Class D
"Ah...I'm bored..." I mumbled.
I was currently sitting at my desk, waiting for lessons to start today. The classroom was slowly filling up with students as the time continue to pass. The day was moving on as usual. Class D, a class full of defects was still lively as ever. Hirata and Kushida were in their usual groups. Koenji was staring at himself using his handheld mirror. Horikita was fully absorbed in her novels. Sudo was sneakily taking pictures of Horikita as she was reading. The other two idiots were talking about other perverted tactics to use on the poor female students. Sotomura (bless his heart), was minding his business and sketching something on his notebook.
It has already been 8 months since I've enrolled here. Though the structure of this school is far from conventional. The school provides unique assessments and exams that no other public institution to my knowledge does. The special exams conducted here play a significant role that differentiates it from other schools.
Another distinct difference from a normal school from which I heard, would be of course: the S-system. Even though our class had a drastic setback due to the truth of the system, we still managed to grow this far. In terms of the actual accumulation of class points, Class D was in the lead.
The results shown for the progress of Class D were all tied to a certain individual of the class. Horikita Suzune, my Tsundere seatmate and female leader of Class D. However, Horikita was only a scapegoat to cover the work that I conducted behind the scenes. At the start of the year, Horikita was an emotional little bro-con who viewed just about anyone as a nuisance. Thankfully, her growth has emulated throughout the academic year, she is now willing to help our class rise through the class standings. Although, the same can not be said for me.
I let out a big yawn after my inner monologue.
"You look awfully tired, Ayanokouji-kun." Horikita said without lifting her eyes from her book.
"Some things just had to be taken care of." I gave out a quick response.
Horikita was visibly confused by my reply but continued reading.
I wasn't lying when I said I had some business to take care of. Last week, I met with Ryuuen and his gang. I had planned to deal with the threat that poses against my peaceful life, however...
Flashback
Aftermath of Rooftop Brawl
Ibuki, Ishizaki, and Albert were knocked unconscious and laying on the roof's floor.
Karuizawa Kei was also among the group and had passed out due to the traumatic experience that had happened prior.
Ryuuen was laid on his back as a figure stood overhead glaring at him.
"Ryuuen..."
"Do you think this...is over, Ayanokouji?" Ryuuen asked.
I nodded.
"It's over. Unless you want to keep going?" I taunted him.
"Tch." Ryuuen clicked his tongue, visibly irritated by what had occurred.
