Your POV
I heard the sound of the rain hitting the cement outside and the loud yet soothing thunder. Rain and thunderstorms always made me feel calm. I glanced at the clock and saw it was 3am. Knowing very well that I wouldn't be able to sleep again I got up.

I walked out of my room and into the kitchen. It was completely silent aside frome the soft patter of the rain. I decided to make myself a cup of tea since I'm up. As I looked in the cabinet I found nothing but coffee. I hated coffee. The coffee here was just left over from when my mom lived with me. She died a few months ago, so this coffee must be very old. I grabbed it and tossed it into the trash. No tea for me I guess.

I stood in front of the sink facing the window. I saw the rain trickling down the window. I saw Vanessa's flower shop which was right across the apartment I live in. It amazed me how cheerful the shop looked even though no one was there and it was raining.

Vanessa once was a close friend of mine, before she decided she was too good for me. She owned a flower shop and I was barely keeping up with my bills since I worked at a small boba shop. At this point I didn't have friend or talk to anyone. Other than shoyo of course, a friend and also a regular at the boba shop.

I had until 10 to do something since my shift started at 11. I worked 11 to 7 everyday. Yet I always woke up at this time and fell asleep around 12. The funny thing is I never feel tired though.

☆Timeskip to 11☆
I walked into the shop and got ready at the cash register. It was usually pretty slow in the mornings but you never know when someone will show up.

After standing at the register for about an hour I decided to sit down behind the counter. As I was about to grab my phone, I heard the small bell above the door ring. I quickly shot up and looked at the person who had just entered. I relaxed once I saw that it was just shoyo. "Hi (Y/n)!" he said cheerfully. "Good morning hinata." I said smiling, glad that it wasn't another customer who saw me. "Are you tired?" he asked in a worries tone as he had just seen you come up from behind the counter. "I'm fine, I was bored that's all." I said, although I was thinking of taking a small nap. Actually I'm glad he came when they did or I would've fell asleep at some point. "Anyways, what would you like to order?" He looked at the menu before ordering what he usually ordered. I honestly didn't see the point of looking at the menu if he was just going to order the same thing every time.

Shoyo always ordered a mango milk tea with mango popping boba every time he came. I went to the back to prepare his order. As I was walking in I saw a bee flying around. I wasn't scared of bees, but I was allergic to them. I let it fly around and continued to prepare the order. I glanced at the bee hoping it would leave out the slightly opened window so I wouldn't have to kill it. I don't mind killing it, but it would be easier for me if I didn't have to. I mean I would waste about thirty minutes for me to catch it and kill it.

I walked out with shoyo's order in my hands. I handed it to him and he paid for it then left. He usually stayed to chat for awhile but he was busy today, leaving me by myself trying not to fall asleep. I decided not to sit down knowing I'd fall asleep. No one seemed to be arriving today so I figured I should go check on the bee. I walked in and saw the bee sitting on one of the counters. I walked up to it thinking it was dead.

I looked at it and upon closer inspection I realized something quite odd. It seemed to be looking at me. I grabbed a fly swatter from the shelf and prepared to smash it when suddenly I heard a strange male voice say:"Ya like jazz?"

Barry's Pov
I sat on the counter minding my own business when I suddenly saw a girl with pretty (h/l) (h/c) hair. She looked kind of annoyed about something. I wonder who she is. I've never seen her in the city at all. Maybe she never goes out? I look at her again and watch as she grabs a fly swatter and looks as if she's about to hit me with it. That's when I noticed her pretty (e/c) eyes. I didn't know what to say to make her stop without freaking her out...So I said the first thing that came to mind:"Ya like jazz?"
