Your POV
I woke up feeling very energetic, quite the contrast from yesterday. I got up and decided to shower because I would be meeting Barry and Vanessa today. I had already apologized to Vanessa for ignoring her last night. I hoped things wouldn't 't be awkward and we can all still be friends. Vanesa had told me about the breakup, but she did not tell me why. I wondered what could have happened between them. They always seemed so happy. I got up and headed to the bathroom for a shower.

As I stepped out if the shower I heard my phone ringing. I hoped it wasn't important. Once I finished getting dressed, I grabbed my phone to check who the call was from. It was from Barry. He had left me a text saying he and Vanessa were on there way. Just as I read the text I heard a knock at my door. I shoved my phone in my pocket and walked to the door. I opened the door and greeted Vanessa and Barry. We all got into Vanessa's car and drove the picnic destination. The weather was nice and sunny today with a cool breeze.

When we got to the picnic destination I looked at how green the grass was and how clear the sky looked. The weather was perfect for a picnic. We all relaxed and had a good time as we carried on with the picnic. Later, Vanessa asks if we wanted to ride her plane with her. Me and Barry both agrred and we got into the plane. As Vanessa flew it I felt the wind blowing my hair back and away from my face.

Barry suddenly spoke, "Hey, (Y/n)." I look down at him on the seat. "Hm?" I acknowledged him and waited for him to speak. "I l-" Suddenly there was a large crash. I felt the heat from the explosion surround me and I felt a few bones break. Everything felt as if it was in slow motion. The birds were still chirping and the sky was clear. Until it filled with the smoke fron the explosion. Then it was black.
