***First Person POV***

You raise your head up from the cold wooden surface of your desk, hearing footsteps coming to a stop in front of you, you didn't even have to see his face to know who it was, once you saw the baggy, deep blue pants, and the twiddling of his thumbs, you knew it was your classmate Okuyasu. 

"I'll take it you need help studying for the upcoming test this Friday?" You ask, you rest your head in your palm and give him a friendly smile. He nodded, his cheeks were a bright red, and he had an awkward look on his face, you had grown fond of that look, he looked very cute when he was embarrassed by the fact he needed a study partner. You didn't mind, you honestly enjoyed his company, sure, he's an idiot sometimes, but you find that to be his best quality, you would always look forward to spending time with him, even if it was for the test, he still found ways to entertain you when studying, and some of the facial expressions he would make while studying would have you crying and rolling around on the floor from laughter. 

"When would you like to meet, I'm free today and tomorrow?" It was a regular Wednesday afternoon, you only really had plans on Firday's and on the weekends. The two of you would usually study on Wednesday's and Thursday's, because conveniently, teachers would always assign tests on Friday's. 

"Could we try both today and tomorrow? I'm feeling extra underprepared for the test.." he said quietly so no other students could hear his shame, at least that's what he thought it was, you thought it was normal, considering you were always a mentor for those who needed help on homework.  

"That sounds fine, where at?"

"We could try the park behind the school, I'll bring you out for f/d, my treat." He offered smiling, your own only growing wider at the mention of dessert.

"That sounds great, after school I presume?" He nodded, you gave him a thumbs up. He had left your desk to collect his stuff before the bell rung, once it did, you went out into the hall heading towards your next class. After school was sure to be fun.

***Time skip because yeah***

It was now your last period, you sat at your desk, you had finished your homework early and there was nothing better to do but drawing on the worn wood, the teacher didn't seem to care which was nice, people had screwed it up enough why not add to it? There is no saving for this desk. Every once in a while, you would look up and check the time, feeling slightly frustrated that the time would seem to slow down every time you looked at it, you could have sworn you looked at the clock five minutes ago and it still said the exact same time.
