Hey there again Y/n! So unlike those other two monstrous chapters, this one is just a sweet fluff, not a crackfic, so this time around you can see what I actually write like when it's not horrifying crackfics. I hope you enjoy!
***Your POV***
An explosion rang through your ears, as you are sent flying through the window, along with Speedwagon. Speedwagon was the first to land, slamming into the fountain outside with an audible grunt. He quickly got up ready to go back in to aid Jonathan in his battle, a loud crash was heard as he looked up, to see you flying out of the window, right into the warmth of his arms. He gasped falling to the ground, his arms were wrapped around you, holding onto your fragile frame. Speedwagon stared at you watching as you slowly lost consciousness.
"Y/n! Stay awake just for a little lon-!" His words were only cut off when you did the exact opposite of what he told you. Your vision went blurry before turning black. "Y/n? Y/n!" He said shaking you gently, there was no affect, you were out like a light. Speedwagon sighed, taking off his jacket, before wrapping you in it. He gently held your face in his hands, lightly rubbing his thumb over your cheek. He viewed you as the most wonderful woman he could ever lay eyes upon, ever since he saw you and Jonathan on Ogre Street, he would not dare to hurt a fine lady, such as yourself. He would be lying if he said he didn't have an attraction to you, and he knew that for a fact. He felt as if he needed to protect you and keep you out of harm's way, and this moment of time only increased that feeling. He felt as if he had failed in being your knight in shining armor, and believed he needed to repay you when you woke up.
Speedwagon leaned in closer, your noses now touching, one of his hands cupped your cheek, while the other one found rest on your chin. He combed the strands of hair lain on your face, moving it away. He closed his eyes, feeling your hot breath brush over his face. He felt his cheeks getting hotter every passing second, he yearned for you to wake, so he could kiss you properly, but this would have to suffice as of now.
Instead of the wonderful of his lips pressing against yours, he was interrupted by another crash, along with shards of glass falling to the ground, he watched as Jonathan was thrown into the air, falling to the ground with a painful thud. Speedwagon silently cursed to himself, setting you down carefully and rushing to Jonathan's side.
***A Few Days Later, Your POV***
You huff out a small breath, slowly beginning to wake up. Stirring around, you feel something hard and warm by your head, you lean closer to it, resting your hand atop it, thinking it's just a pillow. You slowly start to fall asleep again until you feel a puff of hot air come from this so said pillow. You brush it off as your imagination, but soon come to disagree with yourself when more hot air fans over your face. Your eyes open and you gasp sitting up quickly. Whatever this thing was jumped as well. You're about to scream until you hear familiar voice.
"What's wrong?! Did you see something?! Where is it?" Speedwagon asks, turning his head around all over the place. You breathe out heavily, you had been holding a breath in and you didn't even realize it until you nearly suffocated. He turned to look at you, a smile spreading onto his face. "Oh you're awake, are you feeling alright?" He slowly becomes worried, pulling off your blankets, you blush slightly as he looks over your body. "The severity on your burns seem to have gone down, thankfully." You only now noticed that there were burn marks on your body, they didn't hurt as of now, but they looked like they did at some point. Speedwagon got on top of you and this only increased the amount of red in your cheeks. He looked at your face and held your cheeks. He scanned over your face and neck before meeting your eyes. "Your cheeks are red, do you have a fever?" He asks, you shake your head, bringing your hands up to his, the two of you slowly leaning closer to each other. Your noses touch and your foreheads are pressed against each other, his slow breaths blew over your face, making your nose scrunch slightly. Speedwagon smiles happily.
"You're really cute when your nose scrunches like that, Y/n." He says, his thumb was moving up and down, just like back at the mansion. He quickly hefted you up into his arms as he cradled you, his face not moving away from yours in the slightest. You smiled running your hand through his hair. He leaned into your touch, as well as leaning even closer to you. Your lips were brushing now, Speedwagon's lips were soft and plump, you two leaned in more until you were brought into a tender kiss. Your lips matched his perfectly, fitting together almost harmonically. He only wanted to keep kissing you, but unfortunately the basic human need for oxygen wouldn't allow him to do so. The two of you pulled away from each other, sucking in a few quick breaths. Speedwagon turned a bright red, his smile only growing brighter by each passing second, he pulled you close to him in a hug.
"I have wanted to do that ever since I first saw you." He whispers into your ear. You smiled overjoyed, you too had strong emotions towards him, and wanted to be with him ever since you found out how amazing he truly is.
"Me too.." you admit, he pulled back surprised, he soon began smiling again and pulled you in for another kiss. You kissed back enjoying the feeling of his lips on yours once more. This one lasted longer, as you had breathed in just moments before, the kiss was much more sensual as well. His hands ran through your hair, your hands were behind his neck, pulling him closer to her as if this was your last moment with him. Thankfully, it wasn't. Pulling away, you both started chuckling hugging each other again. All troubles left your mind, as you and your new partner fell asleep, huddled against each other for warmth.
