It has been a few weeks since he proposed and it's time for wedding planning. I'm not the type of girl to have had my wedding planned since I was 8, but I have an idea of what I want. I want a spring wedding. I want it to look like we are in a fairytale. I told Eli this and he says he has a perfect venue and that it's a surprise. I honestly don't trust that. He has shown my mom but she won't tell me where it is.

Today, we had finally finished deciding on most of the main decorations, so Eli has decided to show me the venue before we purchase anything. He is such a dork sometimes. I honestly cannot wait to see what he picked out.

He hands me a blindfold to wear. We hop in the car and he begins to drive. We drive about 45 minutes before reaching our destination. Eli hops out of the car and shuffles over to me. He opens my door and helps me out. "You can take the blindfold off", I practically rip it off my head in excitement. I look up to see a house that looks like a Victorian castle. My jaw is practically on the floor. Eli breaks the silence "You like it?", he seems nervous by my silence. I turn to him, "I love it", I get on my tiptoes and kiss him.

I pull away and grab his hand

I pull away and grab his hand. "Well don't just stand there, show me around", he chuckles and walks me up to the front door. It was a grand dark oak door, with intricate carving patterns on it. He opens it to reveal an open hallway. To the right was a set of dark wood stairs, and to the left was an open living room. The whole thing was decorated in Victorian royalty style. The open hallway leads to the back of the house. The floor was carpeted with an intricate red yellow and brown design.

We make our way to the back to see an open forest-like garden. Trees line the backyard like a fence, and it appears to continue for miles. I can't believe Eli picked a place this perfect, it's exactly what I had imagined. We continued to look around the property before going home.
