Time Skip to Christmas 4 years later.

I am awakened by a sudden pressure. I quickly open my eyes to see Eli standing next to the bed beside me and our 3 years old named Liam jumping up and down on me. All of us had matching pj's on, as it was now a tradition. I can't help but chuckle at his complete happiness. I grab Liam's hands in mine and he jumps up, landing on his butt.

Eli climbs into his side of the bed. Liam's sheer excitement all over his face "It's Christmas!!" His excitement puts a smile on my face that I cannot stop. "Yes, it is Liam". I look over to Eli and he is staring at me. I smile from embarrassment "what?" he just smiles back and says "Nothing, I just love you" my heart flutters. He places a soft kiss on my lips that was full of love.

"Ew!" Liam exclaims. We both turn to him and burst out laughing and Liam just smiles at us. We enjoy the moment for another second before Liam decides that he needs to open his presents.

We head downstairs. Before we even make it downstairs, I am bombarded with scents, one that I know all too well. He made crepes with Nutella, the same thing he made the first Christmas we had together. I get excited and practically run to the kitchen with Liam who is just as excited as me.

We make our way to a beautiful spread on the dining room table with crepes, fruits, and other stuff. We all sit down and shove our faces full of food. I aid Liam in eating seeing as when he tries to feed himself food gets all over his face. I wipe off a smudge of Nutella that was on my chin and turn to Eli. His cheeks are full of food, he looked like a chipmunk. He noticed me looking and looked back at me, giving me a cheeky smile. There was chocolate all over his face. I burst out laughing and so did Liam. We finished up breakfast and went over to the living room.

I went into the kitchen and made us hot chocolate while Eli helped Liam pick a movie to put on. Once the hot chocolate was done I sat down on the couch, resting my head on Eli's arm. Liam ran over to his stocking and emptied all the candy that filled it all over the coffee table.

Liam jumped onto Eli and me, placing himself sprawled out over us while eating his candy.

The second Liam was done with his candy he jumped up and looked back at us. He gave us puppy dog eyes before asking "Presents?". Eli and I looked at each other and nodded. We paused the tv and made our way over to the Christmas tree.

Liam sat down on the floor and stared at us intensely until we gave him his presents. Once I put all of his presents in one place I went over to sit down next to Eli. Before I could sit, Eli grabbed me on the waist and sat me on his lap, wrapping his arms around me. The genuine love I feel for this man is something I never thought was humanly possible.

Liam quickly began ripping his neatly wrapped presents to shreds. His face lit up the second he recognized what was inside. It was a remote control car that I was sure was going to cause chaos in the future but I couldn't care less. Seeing Liam this happy makes me happy.

Before Liam finished opening all his presents he got up and grabbed some other gifts that were under the tree. He handed Eli a bag with tissue paper in it. Eli opened it and pulled out a handmade crown that Liam made him. Liam doesn't understand the whole streaming thing but he understands that dad does "acting" and he loves watching his dad in character. I could tell this gift meant a lot to Eli because I could tell he was welling up.

Before I could say anything another bag was shoved in my face by Liam. I hadn't even opened it yet and he was absolutely beaming. In it was the shitties painting of me, Eli, and Liam. It was shitty but it was my shitty painting, made by a literal 3-year-old. I loved it. I was flooded with happiness, I have been since I woke up. Eli rests his head on my shoulder and kisses my cheek. He then scoops up Liam and pulls him and me into a hug.
