*tap. tap. tap.

For once in a while, Hange thinks that her lungs might be giving up on her, or the phrase 'take it easy' didn't mean anything to her anymore. There's no way for her to take a slow breath this time, because she was breathing almost desperately, hungrily, as if she wanted to drain all the oxygens inside this building and no more.

Hange brought her hands up, squishing palms and let out a deep yet blocked sigh. She wants to yell out loud, who cares what would the others think. But she holds it back, getting herself into a gruesome anger won't win her any. Satisfied? It only last not long after 10 seconds and the rest is just a shame.

Hands drop to each side in slow mode, Levi's stoic yet acting-like-concern face flashed inside her mind.

"Damn it, shorty." Hange cussed, pacing even more faster than before.

Heck she even forgot to thank Levi for the coffee.

Hange had left the coffee in her office, positively sure it was running cold. Her mood for a cup of coffee is gone now, however it will be another problem if she decides to ignore Levi's coffee.

The Captain would have a terrible fit. Perhaps her office would turn upside-down because of it.

Hange shrugged to herself, "No choice, I see." She was about to turn around, only to stop when her eye caught a glimpse of a familiar red door not far from where she stood.

"Moblit.." her lips murmured in pain, like it was tasting a sort of venom that could kill.

That was Moblit's room, Hange is certain of it. Moblit had never invited her to come to his room, not even once for the rest of his life. There were some certain times where Hange wants to have a little chat with him in his room, he sarcastically blocked her from entering even for one foot. She noticed his deep blush whenever he came out from his room, asking her if it would be okay to have a chat in the lab instead of there.

Hange didn't mind about it back then, but to this point it turns out she couldn't resist the curiosity anymore.

She went closer to the door, placing one palm on the dusty surface as she plans to push it in slow motion.

"Hange-san?"

Flinched. Hange drops her hand and spins around, meeting the gentle gaze of Jean.

"Jj- Jean, you startled me." Hange laughs nervously, she points her glasses up to the bridge of her nose.

"I'm sorry," Jean flashed a bitter smile. He rubs his temple while looking down.

"Oh, no.. no.. no harm done. I was just-" Hange side-glanced at Moblit's door, her face clearly shows deep sorrow in Jean's sight.

Giving that door a quick look, Jean turns his full attention back to the Commander. "Hange-san, it's okay."

"Er- uh?" Hange was taken aback by Jean's slow voice, kinda sound like he was trying to convience her.

"You can come in with me if you want to," Jean said, half-explained.

"..." Hange looked at him in the eye, searching for any suspicious glint inside it but none came. Only sincerity and pure concern, Hange felt bad for misjudging this man.
