The thunder dragon began to roar, as it flew swiftly above, sending purple lighting to swivel the skies. The thunder dragon took the shape of a dark, wispy cloud, and only presented itself when there was a war going on; bringing a thick, hasty fog and a curtain of rain with it.
Favian and Batya; two strong, archangel warriors took lead. They showed no fear- for they were courageous.
They pulled their hoods up, and signaled commands to their fellow warriors on the other side of the battlefield. It became a dangerous task, but the New World counted on the archangels, because as time progressed, the world became darker and more cruel.
Corrupted.
Time was ticking, and the end started to inch itself closer.
It seemed almost as if the world had been consumed by darkness, and spit back out with death. Luckily, in each section of the word, there was a nature protector that took the form of a creature, or a resemblance of an animal; only this time, massively bigger and excessively powerful.
It was a spiritual being that had many appearances in different sections.
It's name was Sol.
The protector of nature.
It had taken its place among the New World, and came as the form of a giant elk, a dire wolf, a snow leopard, and many more enchanted creatures. Including the lion with wings, which was given as a gift to my father Favian before he came to the New World.
However, the day that the official archangels landed- the lion with wings got lost, and landed in a faraway place. It symbolized a great weapon against the vampires, and unfortunately that weapon could not be found.
They say the lion was a majestic creature with wings, so strong that it could tear the flesh off of a man with one wing stroke. It was a mighty lion with sharp claws, and a long, feathered tail.
But, where is it now when it's needed the most?
A metallic smell fumed the air... Blood. The first official fight between the angels and the vampires had started. Archangels had their angelic weapons that became their light. Some had bow and arrows, a few carried swords, and a couple archangels carried around daggers.
Angels were completely powerless on this planet, besides their agility and strength. But, was it enough?
Batya began to whimper for help, as she reached quickly for her stomach, and as soon as Favian heard her cry for help, he came to her need,
"What is it? Are you okay??" He worried.
Batya became speechless as she was taken by the hand, and away from the fight,
"The baby..." She cried.
Her eyes widened as she looked up at Favian. She started to stumble and then regained her focus.
Favian reassured her, cradling Batya's face into his hands, "No... it's much too early my dear. That's quite impossible."
-"I.."
Batya began to fall to her knees, moaning in excruciating pain.
She leaned herself against a large rock, while her head flew back. Tears began to roll down her cheeks, suffering a pain that was so intense, that gripping and squeezing Favian's hand just wasn't enough. Crying turned into yelling... and that's when it happened,
"It's a girl," Favian coaxed and swaddled it with his cape, "What shall her name be?"
Favian handed their beautiful, blue eyed, baby girl over to Batya, and she started to examine it with a smile,
"Let's name her-"
"You know the spill of angel blood is a very addictive smell? Especially the smell of a newborn angel baby, the strange man looked over at the mother, "Be a dear and hand her over?"-
A vampire.
-"Never!" Favian yelled, with a swing of his blade.
Favian slashed the vampire in the face, and it fell to the ground. It began to laugh, and slowly came back to its feet.
Favian yelled, "Take the baby.- Go!" He kissed gently on the head of his newborn baby girl, and then his wife Batya, "Go," He said again.
Batya decrepitly got up with her newborn baby girl in her arms, and started to stumble towards the first sign of green.
"This shouldn't take long dear, I'll catch up to you later," The vampire laughed.
When an angel woman gives birth to a child, her light and energy is dimmed; due to putting it into a new form of life. Death is always a common thing when it came to giving up one's light, but it was a sacrifice a mother was willing to take.
As soon as Batya reached the edge of the woods, she looked around for help; her vision was hazy and grew black. Suddenly, she than noticed a beast staring immensely her way. She started to turn the opposite direction in fear, but was then stopped after the beast lowered its head in submission and spoke gently,
"Give thee to me... I will send it to safety."
"You c- can speak?" Batya said feebly.
The beast was a dire wolf covered in tribal tattoos and vegetation. It was apart of the forest; a protector.
"I was made by God, trust in me, and I will not fail you..."
Batya began to walk with caution towards the dire wolf, but felt more at ease as it continued bowing its head in submission, and it spoke again,
"You are Batya... The wife of Favian... You were sent down to protect this planet just as my purpose is... To protect. My name is Sol, and I am the protector of nature. But, with this form, I can only stay in the forest. Come forth- I will not cause you or your child any harm."
Batya collapsed to the ground, breathing unsteadily, but put the rest of her strength into handing over her baby and putting trust in the unfamiliar animal; Her baby that was still swaddled in its fathers cape,
"Follow the brightest light in the sky Sol, there it will lead you to the archangels. Tell them- Nevaeh has returned home... Th- Thank you."
The dire wolf took the cape and grasped it gently in his jaws, and without another word, he took off with the baby, and followed the light as he was told.
When the dire wolf reached the end of the light, he was greeted by a few angels at a large, gated archway. However, this greeting wasn't your normal hello, it was more of a I will kill you if you step any closer.
"My name is Sol. I am the protector of the forest, and I have came here with a message."
A man in a hood approached, "Are you a creature of God?"
The dire wolf nodded.
"We are archangels... We recently landed here with a lack of information of the creatures that reside here, so I am very sorry about the greeting you received when you came to the gates."
The dire wolf nodded again.
"What is your message Sol?"
The dire wolf laid down a familiar cloth.
-"Could that be Favians??" Voices began to shout.
The cloth started to move, and a face peaked out from it. Light blue eyes, and supple skin.
A baby.
"Nevaeh", the dire wolf spoke.
He nodded one last time and ran in the opposite direction, without anything more to say.
The man in the hood reached down for it, and began to inspect it.
A voice from behind asked, "Could this be?..."
-"Batya's and Favian's child? Yes."
The man in the hood gave it to the voice behind him and said, "Take her somewhere safe, and pass this message along... Tell everyone... the princess has returned home."
