I been in the hospital for three days and I'm ready to go.
"Lexi!" I yelled and a couple minutes later she came into view.
"Why don't you just use the nurses call button?"
"Cause i gotta voice." I shrugged.
"Chile what do you need?"
"I need you to bring me my discharge papers, I'm ready to go."
"Your swelling hasn't went all the way down yet."
"Bro just slide them to me."
"No, I can slide you some jello." She joked.
"Lexi, do it look like I'm joking?"
"Yea." She smiled turning to walk out. "Oh and you have a visitor."
A couple minutes later India walked in.
"What do you want?" I asked sitting up.
"Nothing, i just came by to tell you I burned all yo shit." She smiled sitting in the chair across he room.
"Why?"
"Cause you done with me so I got rid off all the shit you had in my home."
"You do the dumbest shit, just get out."
"It's okay I'll by you some more when you come crawling back to me."
"You think imma come crawlin back. I'm done with the toxic and abusive shit. Ian never put my hands on you and you took advantage of that."
"Well you should've cause if you did you would be sitting in the hospital with a swollen brain." She laughed.
"India just get out so I can make this the last time we speak and move on."
"Don't try and leave me for real cause you know I love you."
"Yeah I know, now get out."
She chuckled before finally leaving.
2 hours later
"So Taurus were about to take you for and the ct to see if the swelling has went down." Lexi explained for the thousandth time.
"Bro just take me in the morning. I don't honestly don't feel like it."
"I'll have to check with the doctor before I give you a answer."
"Well Ms. Morr I think you need to be getting to it." I slightly smiled.
"Chileee." She said shaking her head walking out.
Moments later
"Dr. Andrews said that it's completely fine that but I do have to check you pupils and all that jazz." She said walking towards me.
"So why you don't gotta nigga?" I asked.
"Boy not you in my business." She laughed. "But after I graduated school I wasn't really focussed on finding a boyfriend."
"Oh okay."
"What about you sir, where you're girlfriend?"
"Ion got one." I shrugged.
"Damn what happen?"
"We just wasn't fit for each other." I said keeping it simple.
"Oh well I'm sure you'll find you're right someone."
"Same to you." She nodded and made her way out my room.
"Aye Lexi!" I yelled.
"Yes Taurus?"
"You think I get a note pad and some pens?"
"Lined paper?"
"Yeah." She nodded and walked off again.
While waiting for Lex I called my grandma.
"Wassup lady." I smiled when she answered.
"Hey baby, how you been doing?"
"Ights ight tryna get up outa here." Yes my grandma know I'm in the hospital and the reason.
"Don't be tryna rush it nie. You need to heal correctly."
"I know."
"Imma be up there to see to soon. I been helping Erl out at the church."
"Grandma why you always around him?"
"Cause he my friend. Stay you my business lil boy."
I laughed, "Friend my ass. Imma tell pops."
"Cuss again and imma whoop yo ass, and yo granddaddy cant do nothing to me."
"I'm grown you can't whoop me no moe."
"Oh baby that's what you think."
"Thank you." I said to Lani who brought me my pad and pens.
"Boy who you talkin too?"
"Ma I'm talkin to my nurse."
"Oh tell them to leave you alone so you can't get some rest."
"They can't leave me alone cause if they do I might die." I joked.
"Stop saying shit like that."
"I'm just playin, but I gotta go I'll talk to you later. I love you."
"I love you more son get some rest."
