"Levi I promise I'll be fine. Go have fun." I laughed pushing him towards the door.
"No I don't wanna leave you here alone, knowing what tomorrow is." He pouted.
"We go through this every year."
"We shouldn't have to if you wouldn't be so damn stubborn!" He replied rolling his eyes. "Call someone over here so I know you won't be alone and then I'll leave."
"Who imma call? You my only friend."
"That's right, we gotta fix that cause it's very sad." He said shaking his head. "Call Taurus over here."
"It's 10 o'clock at night hes probably sleeping."
"You'll never know if you don't call." He responded handing me my phone.
I rolled my eyes grabbing the phone and going to his contact.
"Hello." He answered.
"Are you busy right now?"
"No, why wassup?"
"Levi doesn't want to leave me alone with tomorrow being my mommies birthday. So to ease his mind could you come keep me company?"
"Damn that is right. Yeah gimme 30 and I'll be there."
"Okay drive safe." I responded hanging up.
"Well?"
"He's on his way."
"Okay good. I love you, don't do anything I wouldn't do and be safe." He said grabbing his keys and heading out the door.
I locked the door behind him and went in my room to finish watching Luca.
45 minutes later
"Oh my god. Why was the ending so sad." I said to myself wiping my tears.
After using the bathroom it was a knock at the door. Knowing it was Taurus I went to unlock it.
"Hi." I smiled opening the door.
"Hey Chanel." He replied. After a moment of taking his appearance in I finally let him in fully and we made our way to my bedroom.
"How was your day?" I asked as we got comfortable in bed.
"It's was good, I started workin on my album and I had a couple meetings with my record label." He responded sounding excited.
"That's great." I smiled. "I'm really proud of you."
"That means a lot." He nodded. "What about you? How was your day?"
"It was normal. I went to work, then went to se my brother and his family, then came back here and chilled with Levi and Fendi, and now we're here."
"You okay? Looks like you been crying."
"Yeah I'm fine. I just got done watching a Disney movie and you know them be sad ass fuck." I laughed.
"Oh okay just making sure." He nodded.
"You look so tired right now." I laughed a little. "Why won't you go to sleep?" I asked.
"Because I came over here to keep you company." He answered.
"I'll be fine I promise. You had a long day get some rest." I reassured him.
"Nah im good put on another one of them sad ass movies." I did as he said and put on COCO.
2 hours later
"That was sad." I said wiping my tears.
"You only callin it sad cause the grandma was old." Taurus laughed.
"You know they didn't have to make her that wrinkly." I laughed yawing a little. "Okay let's watch another one."
"Bro you tired as fuck, I can see it in your face."
"I can't go to sleep yet." I frowned.
"And why not Chanel?" He questioned.
I looked at him debating if I wanted to tell him a little about my past. Although I do trust him, my problems on top of the trauma he already has isn't good. I just want him to be okay.
"Lexi you know I gotchu. If you don't wanna talk about it that's fine." He said breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Umm my mother loved the rain, like absolutely adored it. When it would rain she would make us sit on the porch with her just to watch and listen to the rain. When I was younger I hated it, but as I got older it became another way we bonded. Being in her presence when she was at peace was so,etching I grew to love. After she died it rained for two years straight on her birthday. At first I thought God was taunting me, then I told my brother about my feelings and he told me he took it as her tellin him she loved him and that she would always be there. So after that we vowed to stay up until it would start raining just so we could say it back." I finished.
Taurus was lookin at me extremely close until his eyes traveled to the window behind me. Then I heard it, the raindrops hitting the window. I smiled big turning to watch the rain.
"I love you too." I said lowly as tears tears rolled down my face. It was like they wouldn't stop not matter how much I wiped them away.
I felt Taurus wrap his arms around me reluctantly before pulling me into his chest.
He held me for a while before I turned around and he let me go.
"Thank you." I smiled.
"No problem." He said getting up.
"Wait where are you going?" I asked becoming alert.
"To the living room?"
"No stay in here with me please."
"Lexi you sure?"
"Yes." I replied opening the covers patting the bed indicating for him to come lay down.
He hesitated before taking off his pants, shirt, and socks leaving him with boxers and a wife beater on.
I turned off my side lamp, and tv before laying beside him.
"Can I lay on you?" I asked lowly, afraid of the answer I would receive. I found myself always asking if being intimate or touchy was okay. Like asking for hugs, or to hold his hand, even simple this like layin my head on his shoulder. Physical touch was one of my love languages and knowing his was the opposite always kept me on high alert when things like this came up.
"Yeah." He answered. I did a little dance before scooting closer to him and wrapping my arm around his stomach and draping leg across his. He took his arm and placed it over my shoulder.
"Good night Chanel."
"Goodnight Najour."
