My Life Is Changing

Part 6

Daniel was fast asleep in the passenger side of Tom's car. His iPhone was on the dock as it rang. It was Jade trying to FaceTime him.

"Jade sorry to do this to you, but it's for Dan." Tom explained watching the road.

"Where are you heading?" Jade asked.

"Up North, that is all I know. I will let you know what is happening when I get there. Did you and the others get home alright?"

"I have Emma and Rupert with me at ours. But cause Dan's phone is off, his agent and his parents are ringing us to ask where he is as he isn't at the hotel where he should be. What do I tell them?"

"Just try and hold them off for a while. I can't say what Dan wants to do as he's asleep at the moment. So, I will get him to contact his parents as soon as we get to where we are heading. I love you." Tom then hung up and looked over at Dan.

"I hope that this girl is worth all of this hassle for."

Kayla was just on her way home from her parent's house when she decided to drop off through to her work. Ethan was being a little fussy and wanted his nappy changing and a late feed. So work was the place where she was going to stop off and do that.

"Hey guys, sorry Ethan is being fussy tonight. I'm just going to change and feed him. Could you get my usual together? Here's the money." Kayla mentioned.

"Kayla, go through to crew room and feed him in there where it's quiet."

"Thank you, Andy."

Daniel had woken up when Tom shook him awake to tell him that they were near Sheffield.

"We need to head to town centre where she works. It's a 24/7 fast food restaurant." Daniel mentioned.

"Well seen as though we never got any food, I am starving so we can call in." Tom put up restaurant on the sat nav and it directed them to the nearest 24-hour restaurant.

"Kayla you couldn't do us a favour and cover us a break whilst you are here? I will get Serena to look after Ethan whilst you are doing this." Andy had asked of her.

"Yeah, sure why not." Kayla got up and headed up to front where the tills are and took the headset off Serena and told her to get her break.

Tom and Dan managed to find the restaurant where Kayla works. Dan looked up to see that it was Kayla on.

"She's here. But she should be on maternity leave. But anyways come on Tom. You're hungry and so am I"

"Check the order is correct and drive round to pay." Kayla had finished telling the driver of the car.

As that car drove around, she answered the next car and then put them on hold whilst trying to take payment from the first car.

"KAYLA!"

She stopped what she was doing and looked at the camera screen to see Tom Felton and Daniel Radcliffe leaning over Tom trying to talk to her.

Kayla finished taking the payment and asked them to drive around to the last window.

"Sorry can I take your order?" Kayla asked of them.

"Kayla please we need to talk. I'm sorry for what happened that night. I wish that you had told me that you were pregnant I would have been there for you." Daniel explained over the box.

"I'm sorry, I am not Kayla, but could I take your order?"

Serena came up to Kayla with Ethan being really fussy that he started to cry. This was heard over the box.

"I know that it is you Kayla. Please, I want to meet my son."

"Tom park up in the car park and I will come out to you both and talk. But for now, I have customers backing up that need serving. So just pull up and I will bring you something out."

"Thank you, Kayla."

Tom pulled up in the rear car park and stayed there so that none of the current customers would recognise them. The blacked-out windows were still up, but Daniel wanted to have a smoke so he got out and leaned up against the boot of tom's car facing the wall so that no one would know it was the famous movie star.

"Who was that at the box Kayla?" Serena asked of the girl as she passed back Ethan to his mum.

"Oh no one Serena just an old friend." Kayla headed out to the front counter where she then ordered some chicken, fries and diet cokes for the two lads who no doubt had made the journey tonight from London and didn't stop to get any food.

Kayla waved goodbye to her friends and headed out to the rear car park where she saw Tom just passing a baseball hat to Daniel as he wanted to spark up again. Tom picked up another spare hat and got out and he sparked up.

"Dan I am starving man. Are we going to get any food as we left the restaurant back in London without even ordering our food? Oh, and your parents and your agent are trying to get a hold of you as you should be at an hotel tonight as you are flying out to New York in the afternoon." Tom mentioned.

"I'm going to take Kayla and my son with me to the Big Apple and I am hoping that we can resolve things." Dan replied.

Kayla walked up to the two incognito guys and passed them some food.

"Hi Tom, you don't know me at all but hey never mind. Hello Daniel. Here is some chicken, fries and diet cokes because I presume that you both haven't eaten so there you go." Kayla passed the food to them.

Ethan was in Kayla's arms crying as he was getting cold. Kayla headed up towards her car and started to put Ethan in his car seat.

"Ethan is getting cold, so I am taking him home." Kayla told the movie star pair.

"Kayla can we please talk. I want to get to know my son." Daniel asked of the mother of his son.

"Yes, Daniel we can talk. You will have to follow me home in your car as I can't put your car registration on our parking permit system otherwise, they will wonder why a big movie star is up here in Sheffield." Kayla told him.

"Yeah, fine that's ok. You ready to go Tom?" Dan said to his mate who was still eating away at the nuggets.

"Sure thing. Let's go because I am getting cold." Tom put his rubbish in the bin and got into the car and followed Kayla all the way home.
