Midoriya's POV:
I've wanted to work at the BAU since childhood. I worked as hard as I possibly could, volunteered at every police academy and search party, anything that could give me the slightest advantage in getting into the BAU.
After my 16th birthday, I had already graduated high school and was on my way to one of the best colleges with my academic scholarship. Some people might call me a prodigy, but I don't really think I am. I would rather say I am just putting my brain to use. Someone could have a good head on their shoulders, but if they didn't use it, they wouldn't get very far.
I decided to major in Criminal Justice.
I have been working at the local police force for around four years.
Right now, I'm sitting in my bosses office, and I'm almost certain I'm going to get fired. You're probably wondering, "But Midoriya, why do you think you're getting fired?" Well, probably because I was extremely reckless on the last mission I had. I decided to just forget about losing my job for a moment and look around the office. I was analyzing everything, trying to see if I could find something I haven't noticed before. Although, I doubt I'm going to find anything new, since I practically know this office like the back of my hand.
I'm not sure where he went, but I'm definitely not going to ask. The last time I asked, long story short, there was a whole lot of yelling.
Anyways, I decided to look around for something, anything to help me calm the lump in the throat. Maybe I could find evidence that indicated I'm not going to get fired, and I'm overthinking all of this, like usual.
I see a couple college degrees on his wall. I look down at his desk mostly to find photos of his wife and children, sticky notes, a notebook, and I eventually direct my vision toward some files. I can't help but read the cover of the first of many files in the stack that was laying on his desk.
"Izuku Midoriya..." I quietly whisper out.My heart beats a bit faster, the lump in my throat growing. I shouldn't be that worried about a file with my name on it.
I mean, he is my boss, so naturally he would have a file with my information in it.
My train of thought gets cut off when I hear the door open. I shift my gaze to the door, only to find my boss walking towards his office chair. He closes the blinds then sits down.
After a long silence, he finally spoke.
"Listen Midoriya, you're getting transferred." My heart sank. What did I expect? I thought I was ready considering how much I thought about it, but I wasn't. I was in shock, although I saw it coming. I can't believe it. I'm getting fired. I blinked a couple times, watching my dream fade away.
