Today was December 4, 2017 today was the day that Clarke Griffin would leave California, leave her College school and never look back. Never look back at the 4 years she spent there, never look back at the memories that were made, and never ever look back at the green eyed girl that caused Clarke to spiral into someone she never wanted to be.

Clarke had called her mother the day before telling her she would be returning home the next day, telling her that things didn't go as she had liked and she would finish her last year online at home, and after that move to Pennsylvania and attend the Mount Weather Art Program. Her mother didn't complain she simply said okay knowing that her daughter needed to come home.

" I know mom I won't miss my flight I'm heading up to my room right now, I'm just going to pack up the cloths I need and I'll have Octavia and Raven mail everything else later. Why? Because I can't be stuck at this school any longer. I gotta go I've reached my room." Hanging up the phone Clarke took her keys out of her back pocket unlocking the door and making her way inside her and Lexa's dorm.

She wouldn't even look at the brunettes side of the room, she couldn't. She knew that if she did she would cry, and Clarke was over the crying. She was over with everything and just wanted to go home.

Making her way over to her bed she reached under neath pulling out her suit case and setting it on top of the bed. Walking over to her wardrobe she opened it, trying to decide what clothing she wanted to take home. Standing in front of her wardrobe for a minute she finally just grabbed a bunch of clothing not even caring anymore she made her way over to her suit case, starting to fold her things so she could put them in neatly.

She had gotten lost in her head, thinking about the four years she had spent at Berkeley, all the memories she had made. But that soon just brought her to memories of Lexa, memories that they made, never eating in the dinner hall always eating under the bleachers for lunch, skipping classes to lay in their flower field and stair at each other for hours. She could feel the tears prickling in her eyes. She was snapped out of her thoughts when the door to her dorm was opened, turning she was met with the brunette she didn't want to see at all that day, knowing it would just make it harder for her to leave.

" Sorry, I was just going to come here and study, I thought our dorm would be empty." Lexa stuttered looking down at her watch Lexa furrowed her eyebrows before looking up at the blonde again, " You have AP Lit right now. What are you doing here?"

Turning away, Clarke picked up new cloths and continued folding them, " I use to have AP Lit...not anymore..." Muttering the last part she hoped the brunette wouldn't ask anymore questions.

Lexa didn't understand what the blue eyed girl meant at first, but finally taking in her surrounding she saw the suit case along with all the girls clothing on her bed.

" Your leaving? For how long?" Lexa moved closer.

Sighing Clarke stopped packing turning to Lexa she opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. She opened and closed her mouth several times before she could finally muster up the courage to tell Lexa the truth.

" For forever..."

Clarke could see the tears building up in Lexa's eyes, but she didn't move to comfort her. It wasn't Clarke's job to comfort her anymore.

Moving Lexa hurried standing right in front of Clarke, panicking, " What do you mean forever? Where are you even going?"

Taking several step back Clarke made eye contact with Lexa, " I'm going home, I'll finish my year here at Berkeley online at home, and then I'm moving to Pennsylvania to attend the Mount Weather Art Program....It's what's best." Dropping her head Clarke made her way over to her night stand, grabbing her phone charger and laptop off her desk she walked back over to where her suit case was still the brunette had not moved from her spot in front of Clarke's things.
