Chapter 1- The beginning

Sky's POV
See you tomorrow! I waved to my friends as I headed home. As soon as I reached my home, I threw my bag on the sofa and took a quick shower. I ate snacks before hopping on my PC to play games with my online friends. Every day was like this, on repeat and repeat. Wishing that school didn't exist so I could spend the whole day playing games and watching Anime. We have a group chat called 'BeepBop', It has no meaning, it's just BeepBop. I pinged everyone on discord, telling them to play with me. Jake karma and ray declined as they processed to farm on a game based on the Anime series 'One piece'. Angel was busy doing her school work, Alexa was offline so, it was just Brenda, Tyler, Laurean and I.

We decided to play some Valorant and troll our teammates. I started off the game by voice chatting 'UwU, buy me gun skins' and Brenda added 'UwU, we want gun skins now!' She sounded demanding and sarcastic. Tyler was yelling at us to stop while Laurean was dying. Our team quitted on the half because they got annoyed, we were gasping for air after laughing too much. Angel finished her school work and we left Valorant to play some other games with her.

Bang! Brenda and I got. frightened by the noise that was coming from behind door. 'Guys chill down, it's just a small noise' Angel said, the guys started laughing and Brenda and I started making offended noises 'HmmJuhMmmMmmmHUhHyuhnmm'. We made our way behind that door and found a locker which needed 4 digits code. Angel suggested to split up in groups and look for codes around the building. Group one: Alexa, Brenda, Tyler, Ray
Group two: Angel, Sky, Karma, Jake and Laurean

Ray said 'You guys check the inside parts, we will check the outside'. When ray said that, we all had 'those' thoughts, 'I know what you guys are thinking' said Ray and we went our way.

Brenda's POV
Thoughts were running around my head 'will there be a jump-scare any moment? If so then bitch I'm gone, the fuck'. My anxiety was getting higher and higher as we walk further more closer.
'Guys! Come over here, I found something' Alexa said and we followed her there, it looked like something was hanging on a tree. It was a dead corpse holding a box, I was getting prepared for any jump scares, like I'm totally fine aha. We clicked on the box to see if it opens, instead the corpse started moving and chasing us. God I ran for my dearest life, I mean I could just reset but we would have to restart the whole game.

Laurean's POV
I can literally hear Sky's voice shaking, it would be funny if she screamed right now and bleed our ears. Everyone was silent so if she screams, it would be scarier than the actual game. We went inside the bathroom to investigate, blood was everywhere. 'Guys, I found a note, it says do not look in the mirror' said Angel. Jake told sky that he would look in the mirror if she did too on the count of 321. Jake didn't looked on the count of 321 but Sky did, she screamed loud enough and..

Sky has left the game.

We couldn't stop laughing, it was that easy to troll her and I can't believe she fell for it. We didn't finished the game so it was left on hold.

Ray's POV:
I laid down on my bed while overthinking the text Brenda had sent earlier. It would be nice having them all in same town, same school. Maybe then my school life would be more fun and I could go out and touch some grass sometimes.

Karma's POV:
Imagining what Brenda texted earlier got me excited, first thing is that, I could eat Alexa's homemade french fries and second is bully them with my height. Also afraid that Angel might chop off my legs and donate to those who needs like Sky.

Brenda's POV:
I CANNOT THINKING ABOUT IT!! Like we could go for shopping, picnics, trips and many more. Imagine inviting them over and having movie nights, ugh.

Tyler's POV:
Thinking about earlier, we could have a little hangout spot or maybe a hideout and seek adventure. Maybe like Genshin Impact? Ah yes, I agree with myself.

Next morning.

Jake's POV

I woke at 5 am just to play farm on games. First I needed to feed my dog and then wash up, make myself fried rice and start farming on the game. Usually my mum would wake me up because today she didn't, I got woken up by my alarm. She must be still sleeping today and wait a damn minute. Since when did I had new room? New kitchen? Everything looks different. Did my parents brought a new house last night without telling me? Oh Jesus. I went up to the front door, it was still dark but the streets looks different, I don't recognise anything about this place.
I knocked on my parent's room, waiting for a response. Mum came out of the room and she was about to throw some slippers on me for waking her up. I raised my voice lightly and said 'Where are we? Mum I seriously don't recognise anything or I don't know what happen'. She laughed at my face and she told me that I've gone insane, she told me we have been living for almost 4 years. I'm speechless, my mind is having million different questions. It's like I have woken up from coma after years and my other memories were part of my dreams.

'Jakey boy, get ready for school' my mum said, 'school?? I thought we were in a lockdown mum?'. 'What lockdown, have you been getting enough sleep?' She said to me while laughing at me. My little brother knew the way to school so I was able to reach there. I was parking my bike cycle and I saw a guy who looked like uhmm...ray? I must have gone real mad now, that ray looking guy was having a conversation with another person, I couldn't see their face probably. I ignored it and walked away but holy shit, that guy looks so similar to ray, like it's ray but it's not.
