Chapter 3- The game begins.

Alexa's POV

We saw this screen that was attached to one of the buildings, it was bright. On the screen, it said 'Would you like to play?', what If this is a trick, guys? I said and Jake added 'Someone could be pranking us' Brenda replied with "Come on Jake, this isn't a prank, it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play a game in real life." Alright, guys, let's chill and think through, "I agree with Alexa," Tyler said. Okay so who agrees we should play the game? Sky, Karma, Brenda, Ray and Tyler agreed to play the game, Jake, Angel, Laurean and I disagreed. 'So five of us agreed to play the game and four of us disagree' I said. 'So, we are playing?' Laurean said, "Guess so" Angel replied, not sure if we made the right choice to play the game, along felt like a dream so this might be part of the dream too. "So why do you guys disagree to play the game?" Sky asked, Jake, replied with "Because we have concerns, we don't want any danger towards us and it's a risk..unlike you who is careless' ', Sky was very offended, her face says everything, I don't know to calm them down.

Jake's POV

I honestly don't know what's so hard about not playing the game and living life as it is now. I don't get how they can't think of the consequences and like I don't get it how Tyler, Karma, Brenda, Sky and Ray agreed to play the game. "Guys I think we should play the game, just like Brenda said earlier how this is a lifetime opportunity, we always talked about how if games existed in real life right? So there it is, right in front of us" Sky said trying to convince. However, not enough to convince me and others at least, as I was thinking that, Laurean agreed with Sky. I thought Ray and Karma would disagree and come to my side, I gave a glance at them. This is the final now, I guess we are playing, this really sucks.

Sky's POV

Why is Jake so mad? It's not like I killed his dog. Whatever, we are playing now and it's decided. "Wait guys, do we have to play the game? Why do we have to play?" Angel questioned it , Alexa also added "Do we have any option?". A loud echoing voice appeared again and said "Do you have any choice but to play the game? If you don't, you're stuck here forever, no lights, no food, no people, empty towns and it's just you nine. However, if you play the game, you have a choice of living and going back to your original dimension, without these robotic people that I've created but that's only if you survive my games". The voice disappeared again. "ROBOTIC PEOPLE?" I said out loud.

Brenda's POV

Talking about robotic people, our classmates were acting weird. Also, my sister was acting weirder than usual, almost as if someone was controlling her. "Guys, do you remember interacting with our classmates earlier? I asked them, Karma replied with "Yeah, I was asking if any one of them played basketball, they kept on saying "How are you?", I found that very weird and it did not look normal'. Ray said "Dude, I was trying to make friends and perhaps play games with them, they all had the same expression when I was asking them. "Honestly same, they creeped me out a bit, even the teacher was not normal, at least for me," said Angel. I agree with what they're saying, like girl..., I don't think this shit is normal.

Laurean's POV

I said 'So....are we going to play or..?', 'We have no choice but to play, survive and win if we want to go back' Angel replied. I'm shivering, I have seen movies where people get stuck in a video game and never make it out, I didn't think it would come true. We all obviously know, this ain't a dream, it's real and it's happening at this present moment. 'Let's do this guys?' Ray said, 'We will win and we will make sure no one dies..'. A transparent screen appeared in front of us, 'Press start to play the game or exit to quit the game' it was on the screen. I'm not ready, I'm not ready, I'm not fucking ready, what if someone dies, what if we don't survive, what if we don't make it out, what if we get stuck in this fake world forever. 'You guys ready? I'm going to press start now' Karma said 'Wait!' Tyler said to karma, 'Guys, before we start the game, I love y'all so much like full homo' Tyler said while sobbing and sniffing. The way she said it was funny but when she started to tear up, I got emotional. 'Alright, karma press start' Said Brenda, here we go on a rollercoaster.

Unknown POV

Oh, they look so ready to play the game. This is just getting exciting, this feeling is giving me pleasure, I cannot wait for more reactions to see on their faces. I proceed to say "You will be placed in different rooms, it is a mix of puzzles and maze, you will all need to go to an elevator which is placed in the middle. If the elevator closes without a person that means that person died, if it doesn't...well you're lucky your precious friend is still alive but suffering to get to the elevator. However, that's just the beginning of the game. Play well, players..starting in 3...2..1."

Angel's POV

Once we stepped inside this door, we all teleported to different rooms, we can hear each other's echo but not so clearly. I can feel some of my friends panicking, hope they're all doing okay, for now panicking won't help unless there are traps..? Oh well, let's get this through with it and get to level 2. "I'm sure they will do well because...what can I say, they're my pro gamers so whatever you got for us, bring it on stupid bitch!" I yelled to that unknown asshole, it felt great.
