Throwback to Trauma.

Renjun packed all the proofs he has from that stranger and himself in a box, keeping it hidden under his bed and letting it hide between his art boxes there. He just went home from his walk and found no one in the house.

He sipped the glass of water he had on his hand. Sitting down on the dining chair, deeply thinking about everything that's going on. His other side... It's been so long since it last appeared that Renjun thought he's gone. But he's still in him, just sleeping deeply for the last few years.

How did this 'other side' came to him, if you ask. It all started from a trauma years ago.

The father he once had was a good man that became bad without cause. He was a workaholic and cold, a smile barely ever painted on his face. Therefore his mother loves Tao dearly. Willing to do anything just to make him happy.

Even if it meant losing her life.

Renjun is born from Tao's vulgar action to Wendy. The two were once step siblings. But because of Tao's drunk kiss to Wendy that made them go further into the action, disgusting their parents and getting them kicked out.

Tao once cared for the situation, finding a job even if he's just a high school student at that time. Just for his life and Wendy's, also the baby living inside her stomach. It made the girl fall for him, and they married once Tao reached his peak of success.

But slowly, Tao changed. Like said, he once cared for Renjun and Wendy. Odd, nothing in their situation that time showed a hint of why he became distant.

Yet Wendy still smiled at Tao, positively thinking that he is at his bad phase.

The bad phase got worst every time. Until in its peak, Renjun was 5 and of course, as a kid he likes to disturb. He often disturbs his mother because he's always warned to not bother his father who spends years of his adulthood in the office working.

He is obedient, but that day, he just happened to feel bored and decided to go to his father. He ran with his little legs to the office room, quietly pushing open the door with full force, his cute hands pushing it.

"Papa!"

Ignored.

"Eung Papa?"

Again, ignored.

Only the clicks and taps from the keyboard and computer sounded, along with the paper scratches.

Renjun meant to walk to approach Tao, but his arm that swung accidentally hit the coffee table that had a ceramic vase on it. The table shook and the vase dropped, smashing to pieces. Little Renjun widened his eyes and slowly turned his head to Tao, who's now staring at him in anger. It showed clear in his dull eyes.

"Little brat!"

Renjun backed up and looked at his father in horror, Tao's sudden kick made him fall. His palm stabbed by the sharp pieces of the vase.

"Aww!!" A cry bursted from the boy, staring at the blood that kept on running out of both palms. Tao repeatedly punched his son's stomach.

Nobody knows why, just because of a vase that fell on accident made him nearly kill his own son.

Suddenly, Renjun blacked out right when he heard his mother's scream. He didn't know, but he felt himself sleep yet his body kept on moving. And when he finally stirred awake.

He saw his hand holding a big piece of glass, with blood on its tip. Don't forget his father's body laying on the ground, right in front of his mom who had many purple and red bruises on her body. He doesn't know what happened to his mother, his father and the bloody glass with him.

All he knows, is that the camera in Tao's room...

Shows him stabbing his father repeatedly on the chest, and the man previously shouting and abusing his mother.

Since then, Renjun went to therapy. Luckily he didn't go in jail because the judge said it's an act of defense and mental problems. Renjun often change his way of acting and speaking. Sometimes rude, cold and mature. Other times, soft, childish and all smiles. He also learnt to communicate with his other side, who's called Ren.

The therapy went on a few years later and made the soft persona stay longer and Ren disappear, well that's what he thought before Ren suddenly woke up.

Ren. His own self yet he fears this version of him.

He is ruthless, merciless. All about the violence and psycho thoughts.

Renjun's only point here is, to get Ren far from involving in the conflict and, solve the conflict with courage.
