A young boy was strolling down the hall, going towards his mother's bedroom. All he wanted was to bid his mother a 'good night' before going to dreamland.

He is now face-to-face with a plain white wooden door. He knocked, and right after he heard a 'come in', he turned the door knob and was met with his mother looking at herself at the mirror, with an elegant black dress. The dress was tight and curved her body in the right places, showing the perfect portion of her. She also wore a white pearl necklace, circling around her neck, don't forget the black heels that matched the dress. She had some make-up on, and all that dressing showed Renjun that she was either going on a date again, or go to a party.

"Hey sweetie, is there anything you need?" Wendy, Renjun's mother, asked as she applied the cherry lipstick, still in front of the mirror, but her eyes were looking at Renjun who was also reflected.

"No... I just wanna say good night." Renjun smiled sweetly, a smile that he inherited from his mother.

"Good night to you too, sweetie. I'm going on my date tonight, and I'm going to be home late. I'll lock the doors from the outside, so you don't need to wait for me and just go to sleep, ok?"

"Ok mo-"

Honk. Honk.

"Oh my- he's here! I have to go, Jun. Love you and don't stay up too late, ok?! Bye!" Wendy kissed his son's cheek and ruffled his hair, before walking out to the front door, fast and careful as she was wearing heels.

"Ok... Bye....?"

"Injunnie! Guess what?!"

"What?! There will be a new moomin series?!"

"No, silly! I'm getting married!"

"..." Renjun froze in his place, looking over at her mom.

"W-what?"

"Look at this ring! He proposed to me last night and gosh- it was so romantic!" His mother ranted on and on about the proposal, and all Renjun did was stare at the wall, eyes still rounded wide.

His mother is getting married?

"H....hold up mom! So, you're getting married to your... Boss?"

"No, to the sweetest tree of the world!" Wendy sarcastically answered, rolling her eyes but still smiling as her son looked at her confused.

"Yes darling, he is my boss,and the sweetest and loveliest guy in the world..." Wendy smiled to herself, Renjun just rolled his eyes playfully and continued eating his toast.

"So, when's the wedding?"

"In... A week!"

The Chinese just nodded. Heck, he never met with his 'soon-to-be' father. Only heard about him from his mom and saw his picture once or twice, never met him in real life. And now his mother is getting married to that person. Tho, he is happy that his mother can move on after the death of his father.

"We've arrived!" Chanyeol, who is Renjun's father now, stopped his car. The tall man looked at his new wife and his new son. He somehow favours Renjun more than his sons, who were all the time cold and arrogant. Renjun was the total opposite of them, he was sweet, caring, smiley and a fluffball. His mother was way too proud to declare him as her son, she loves him so much and everyone sure can see that.

Chanyeol went out of the driver's seat, walking over to Wendy's seat and opening the door for her, holding her hand as she stepped out of the car. Renjun just shrugged and went out of the car.

The mansion was as big as his, but bigger.

"Wait brothers?!"

Chanyeol and Wendy both nodded and Renjun was left shock once again.

"Mom..."

"Relax, you'll be fine, they were nice when I met them, so I'm sure they'll treat you the same." His mother assured, before linking arms with his husband and going in the mansion.
