The day has come, Link has trained hard with Sora. Learning magic, the ways of using the Keyblade, and now its time for the test that will make him a true Keyblade Master. The Mark of Mastery exam, in which King Mickey will hand pick a mission for Link to go on. If Link succeeds, he will become a master of the Keyblade.
Link and Sora head to the Audience Chamber to see Mickey about the exam. "Hey Mickey! Link has finished his basic training!" Shouted Sora from the distance. "You know you can just walk on over here instead of yelling!" Shouted Mickey from the other side of the very large room. Link and Sora were laughing and they headed towards Mickey. "There you go, see, yelling just exhausts your voice. Now, Link. I congratulate you on completing your trials as a Keyblade apprentice. Still I don't know about how your weapon was able to turn into a Keyblade, but i am still working on it." Said Mickey. "I have tried my best Your Majesty. Now what is my task to complete the Mark of Mastery?" Asked Link. "I have came to an understanding by some old friends of mine that their is a person of interest needed to be acquired. His name is Father Tim, a priest." Explained Mickey. Link then remembered in Twilight Town when Maleficent had attacked. The priest that was next to her said his name was Father Tim, "You mean the priest that was with Maleficent in Twilight Town? He sounded like as if he was telling us that we wouldn't have to choose our choices." Said Link. Sora then added on, "He was telling us to stop hunting the Heartless. Not just because he was a priest, but i think he doesn't want to see any fighting." He said. Mickey laughed a bit. "Yes. That is the exact Father Tim i was talking about. See, he has been well, out of place from his fellow friends. They want him back and this is your task; You must find Father Tim and bring him back here. He is is Radiant Garden, ask around to see if you can find him. And you bring him back here, you pass the Exam." Explained Mickey. Link thought this over, "Um, that's all? I expected on slaying a monster or something." Said Link. "I will say this, he is a dangerous fellow. And i will allow you to bring Sora with you." Said Mickey. "I will be glad to join Link on this." Said Sora. The two partners looked at each other and looked back at Mickey. "You will set off to Radiant Garden first thing tomorrow. So i suggest you guys get a goodnight rest." Said Mickey. Sora and Link bowed to Mickey, then left back to there rooms. The mark of mastery will begin.
