Will Grace

Chapter Two

Will had been riding for hours, the saddle of his bicycle was chaffing his legs raw. He was so tired and every bump in the road nearly sent him flying, he decided that he would stop in the village. He could see the road but daren't ride on it in case he had already been reported missing. He was glade for his coat which he could use to conceal his gave when he was in town. He carried on riding with the same monotonous motion of his legs.

Will only managed to soldier on for another hour or so before he very nearly collapsed with fatigue and fell of his bike. Since he was soon to be sleeping rough anyway he saw no harm in taking a nap. He was rather fortunately in a glade so he was quite protected. He put his satchel and lay on the ground to sleep. He dreamt of his 3 year old self playing with his far younger, more attentive father. They were playing hide and seek and Will was hiding in a bush, his father was nowhere to be seen and he thought he had win the round. Suddenly he felt someone grab his shoulder he spun around his heart beating like a hammer I see that his father had crept up on him. They both started laughing hysterically.

Will awoke with a start. His dream had left him drenched in sweat and with a temperature, he could hear shots in the distance, probably just a farmer but best not to take any chances. Will hopped on his bike and rode off at full pace; he decided that he couldn't take anymore off road riding and so he followed the bridleway down to the rough track. He knew it was risky but the mere prospect of having to ride off-road made his aching muscles twinge. He rode along the track until he reached a crossroad, he was planning to go to London so he took the path to London. Little did he know he was in for the bicycle ride of his life...

Sorry this chapter is so short and has been such a long time in the making. The sequential chapter will be much longer. Thank you for your patience guys :)
