The trail is surrounded by trees and bushes, we've probably been out for an hour. We're out pretty far, we can hear the sea, even though it's blocked of view from the trees. A warm breeze flows through my hair, but the dark sky suggests a storm. The humid weather gives me chills. Even Rooster's a little brisk.

Suddenly Rooster starts trotting. Usually I could handle it, but he's standing up straight and his head is almost all the way up. He keeps backing up and then going forward.

'Hey! Rooster.. Rooster you're okay! You're okay don't worry. Heyyy.' Erin coos.

'Argh!' I cry, after bonking my head on a overhead branch. 'Owww.'

I barely have time to rub it off before I lurch forward, hanging onto Rooster's neck. Now I'm really scared. My eyes go wide and I can barely talk. Rooster's bolts. I can't tell if he's cantering or galloping, but I'm too busy struggling to get back on. Now I'm sitting on his neck, my legs wrapped around for dear life. I think Rooster set of a few other horses.

What would Erin think? Oh god. My stomach drops. Maybe because of the thought, or because it's apparent I'm falling.

Then it's black.
