The Shadow Servant Hiatus (Ruby X Male Reader)

Prologue

In Emerald Forest a shadowy figure could be seen, said shadowy figure had a basket next to them. The figure was clutching his right side as blood gushed out and they winced in pain, they turned to look at the basket, crying could be heard from it, they opened half of it and the shadow from their faces faded into a smiling woman.

Lennie: (Looking at The baby boy inside the basket.) Don't worry my little angel, mommy's going to give you her powers, but not before she makes some friends to protect you.

Just as she finished talking, she put her hands out and summoned an army of Grimms, though these Grimms weren't your typical black and white ones, they had color, a pack a baby Grimms approached the two and gathered around the basket.

Lennie: (Looking at all the Grimms around her.) Please protect him at all cost, he's your new master.

A baby beowulf nuzzled against her clutching hand in understatement. Content with her answer she placed her hand on top of the baby's hands and transferred her power to him, with the power transfer in full effect her shadow body vanish leaving a female that was wearing a dress in it's place, her right eye was red, her teeth sharper than the ones of a Sphinx, but the most different feature of the was that she had horns, she took one last glance at the baby two was now sporting the same features as her.

Lennie: (Smiling while crying.) Goodbye my little (Y/N). I know you might hate me in the future, but I want you to know that I'll love you either way, (Placing a dark necklace with a black gem.) my dad gave this to me and my grandma gave it to him, and so on, now I'm giving it to you.

She placed it around his neck with one hand and then smiled at the Grimms.

Lennie: Thank you.

Shortly after she died and The Grimms mourned her death.

Ozpin POV

It was the middle of the evening and I was having my usual cup of coffee, when Glynda one of my teammates, (A/N: Team OGBJ, since the other students had teams it left, Glynda, James, and Bartholomew, without a team so Ozpin joined them and formed the team.) came in with a worried expression.

Glynda: Headmaster, there has been a major spike of Grimm activity in Emerald Forest.

Ozpin: (Taking a sip.) Is there a point of origin?

Glynda pulled out her scroll and showed him a map and a big red dot that consisted of multiple red dots appeared on the outskirts of the forest. This shocked him quite a bit.

Glynda: What are your orders?

Ozpin: Send in a team to scout, then report to me their findings.

The report came in and there where more than 100 different Grimms gathered near a tree.

Ozpin: This is interesting, they said that they are defending something?

Glynda: Yes.

Ozpin: Bring Mr. Ironwood, Mr. Oobleck, and team STRQ.

With that she left and Ozpin pondered what are they defending.

I was gathered with my team and the three of the four members of team S(TRQ) in front of the army of Grimms, they growled at us as we slowly approached, just when we thought things couldn't get any more confusing, a normal nevermore appeared and attacked us, Glynda and I took it down in one fell swoop. The colored Grimms looked at each other then looked at us, mainly Glynda and me, we looked at each other then back at the Grimms.
