CH 8. The Banquet + scheme

So, the day of the Grand Empress Dowagar's birthday finally came. They hold a banquet where some people from different countries came like crown prince of Jin, Jin Ai Yu ; Third prince and princess of Lan, Lan Hua Cheng, Lan SuLi. And there were other officials from our country. As the emperor and empress, we also had to take part. Other consorts and concubines also had to attend. And finally the birthday girl oh I mean the birthday grandma came.

The responsibility of arranging the meal for the banquet was handed to Noble Consort Wu. This is emperor's another so called favored consort. Although ShenLing didn't saw her causing any trouble but still cautious as she will become one of the poisonous snake.
