It was founders day finally and you had to wear this vintage dress which was quite puffy it made you look like a princess and it had a corset on it

(Your dress, pretend it's you not Katherine and without the hat lol)

"Just a little tighter honey" your mom says pulling the strings tighter

"This is so uncomfortable" you groan

"Just one day, don't worry" your mom says finishing up

You had your hair curled and makeup ready to go

You guys arrived infront of the school and everyone was in costume for there specific time era

You had to get your sashay back on and you got into the float and you had to stand with Matt

"Let's give a big hand to the Mystic Falls High School Marching Band" your mom says on the microphone

Everyone starts cheering as the parade starts, the marching band was up front

"And for a little local history, Mr. Saltzman's students have re-created Virginia's battle of willow creek" your mom says as that float goes past with Tyler on it

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome our stunning Miss Mystic Falls court and their handsome escorts" your mom says as your float goes past

You and Matt were at the very top with Caroline and then elena further down

"This is Sophia Lockwood, Miss Mystic Falls" your mom says as everyone cheers, you try to wave at everyone and you see Bonnie and wave at her and she gives a smile and waves back

The float goes around and then later that night you take off your dress and change into something more comfortable, you and your friends all meet at the grill until the fireworks start

You played pool for abit with Tyler but then you went outside to find your mom or dad, but you couldn't find either of them until you bump into someone

"Are you a founding family?" A strange man says

"Yes why?" You say confused

"No nothing" he then walks away

You find your mom and walk up to her and then your dad comes along

"Sophia what are you still doing here?" Your dad asks

"Dad I want to see the fireworks" you say

"Go home" he says

"No Richard honey, what's the problem she can stay" your mom says

You see your dad get frustrated but he goes up onto the stage and you and your mom follow him and sit down behind him

"For 150 years Mystic Falls has been the kind of town that everybody wants to call home, safe, prosperous, welcoming and we have the founders to thank for that" your dad says on the microphone
