You walked down the hall with your earphones in your ears, blasting out your music. You were in your own world and didn't even notice the boy behind you running at you.

"Y/n!" the orange haired boy yelled for the sixth time. You still didn't hear him. He groaned and ran in front of you, making you nearly trip. You pulled your headphones out of your ears.

"Oh hey Hinata, sorry I didn't see you there," you replied, forcing a smile on your face.

"It's ok y/n. are you ok? You've seemed a little off since you came back from the holidays. Actually, even before then you were a little off," you knew that was true. About a week ago school had started up again and you were purposely avoiding all your friends, especially those like Hinata and Yamaguchi who were on the Karasuno Volleyball team. The last week before the break, you and your boyfriend Tsukishima had been fighting nonstop about everything until the last day where he declared the end of your relationship. You were too pissed off to care, but ever since you were a wreck. A whole year of a relation was flushed down a drain. Worst part is that you missed him. You still loved him. Hence why you avoided the team at all costs.

"Yeah I'm fine,"

"Is it your breakup?" he asked and you sighed, nodding. "Oh, I'm sorry. You know, if it helps, we're all going to Tanaka's house tomorrow for the day. His sister wanted to hold a little party for our team and you're more than welcome to come," he asked. You thought for a second. You missed the team and seeing them all and having fun sounded amazing but...

"Sorry Hinata, I can't,"

"Aww, why not?" Hinata whined.

"It'll be the whole team right? I don't know if I'm ready to confront Kei- I mean Tsukishima again," you replied. You hated calling him Kei now. You were one of the only people who were allowed to, but that was when you were together. You figured you'd probably get in trouble now a days if you did that. Yet, it was so hard not to.

"He said he didn't want to, and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't rock up," this kind of sadden you to be honest, but not for him. You don't care about him anymore.

"So Yams isn't going either?"

"I'm not sure about Yamaguchi. Hey look, if they do happen to show up, I'll make sure they don't annoy you,"

"Oh no, Yamaguchi's not a problem. I just don't know Hinata, I'm still pretty bent up about it..."

"Please y/n? We all miss you! even Kageyama does and he doesn't have feelings!" he whined.

"That's a lie you dumbass!" Kageyama hissed, walking up to you both. The two boys began bickering. You rolled your eyes and a small smile made it's way on your face.

"Hinata. Hinata! Hello?" you said, catching his attention. He looked at you again. "I'll go. Message me the details tonight ok? Good too see you Kageyama. Bye guys!" you said, putting one earphone back in your ear and walking away, waving. They both waved back before continuing on bickering.

You looked at the address on your phone then back up to the letterbox in front of you. 'Seems like the right place.' You trudged your way to the front door and knocked. A few moments passed before the door opened to reveal a blonde woman holding a beer, clearly a bit tipsy.
