Felicity's P.O.V.
I woke up to Mary, my foster mum, opening my curtains. I groan and pull my cover over my head, blocking the sun out.
"Felicity, honey, get up" Mary said, I rolled my eyes, "You've got school" she told me, oh yeah, first day of my last year of highschool. Yay! Note sarcasm.
"Go away" I groaned.
"Fel, please" she begged.
"My name isnt Fel" I snapped.
"Fine Felicity, please" she tried, I didnt move, "Please dont do this right now, ive got work and you've got school"
"How about I stay and look after Jess?" I suggested, Jess was my dog. My dog before I was put into care and I refused to let her go. Could you believe it? The care home tried to take my dog away
"No, now get out of bed or I'll call John in here!" She yelled in frustration.
"Whatever" I mumbled, closing my eyes until the covers were pulled from above me. Looks like im getting up...
"Now go get dressed!" She demanded, I grabbed my black skinny jeans with holes on the knees and a band t-shirt.
Mary left the room and I got dressed, then I went over to my mirror and brushed my thick black hair. I had green eyes, freckles spreading accross my nose, long eyeslashes and thick black hair. I put some eyeliner on and chap stick for my dry lips, then I was ready.
I walked downstairs with Jess following close behind me, she was a beautiful german shepherd, I patted her head and entered the kicthen where John sat.
"Morning" he cheered, I gave him a single glance and looked away, "Okay then" he murmured to himself. I grabbed the cereal box and slammed it down on the counter, I then proceeded to grab a bowl, milk and spoon. I sat down on a stool once I was done pouring my cereal.
"So..." I began, John looked up hopefully, "Are you planning to send me back yet?" I questioned. John sighed in disappointment.
"When are you planning to get used to the fact your staying here?" He questioned in the same tone as me.
"You got that wrong, I have parents and this" I gestured around the house, "Is only temporary" I told him, glaring.
"When are you going to understand that your "parents" gave you up?" He asked harshly, tears built up in my eyes but I quickly pushed them back. He's always been harsh about my parents, ever since I arrived here at the beginning of the summer and my care worker explained my "case" to them about my parents, I bit my lip to prevent myself from crying and made my face go cold.
"And when are you going to understand you'll never be my father and that I dont want to be here?!" I yelled, grabbing my bag and keys, keys to the car my parents left behind for me. I slammed the front door shut and got into my car, I already know were the school is so i drove there. Luckily, this time, my closest friend Cassidy went to this school.
Once I saw the school come into view, I parked my car and got out. I could already see all the different groups there were: emos, rich kids, jocks, popular group, nerds, bad boys and some random groups of friends here and there. I knew all this just because of the many schools ive had to go to because of the many foster homes ive been to.
"Oooh, its another emo" a guy taunted as he passed my car, I glared. Im not an emo, just a little depressed.
"Hasnt anyone ever told you not to judge a book by its cover?" The voice of my best friend was heard, I smirked at the guy as Cassidy came over.
"Oh my gosh! I missed you so much!" She gushed, "I was so sad when you left to another town because of your foster parents" she said.
"Ha! They kicked me out after a week of my attitude" I cracked my knuckles.
"So, what about your real parents?" She asked softly, she knew that ive been trying to track down my parents. I know I have parents because I remember my dad pushing me on a swing in the park while my mum watched, laughing.
"Still no sign of them" I mumbled, looking down.
"Aw, its okay" Cassidy assured, "Im sure their out there looking for you" she rubbed my back.
"What if their not Case?" I looked at her with sad eyes, "You remember what they said, they gave me up" I told her.
"You cant lose hope" she told me sternly.
"But, what if they dont want me back?" I question.
"Of course they would" she encouraged and then her eyes drifted behind me, "And uh, strong hot jock has taken an interest in you" she smirked, wiggling her eyebrows. I turn my head to see a guy with sandy blonde hair and grey eyes, well built and a bright smile, staring at me.
"Nah, jocks are big-egoed jerks" I snorted, "Lets go get my schedule" I changed subject and we headed inside.
***
So yeah...my life sucks, me and Cassidy dont have any lessons together.
I was sat in a class that was my worst subject, math. The teacher had already introduced himself and we all had stood up, I was extremely awkward.
I found out that Blondie, from before, was in my class and his name is Jessie. There was also a group of bad boys who were getting on my nerves because they were all throwing paper at me "to see if I would snap" and "how much patience ive got". And one of those boys happened to be the same one that called me an "emo". His name was Cody, he was a brunette with blue eyes.
"If you dont stop throwing paper, right now I will throw this chair at your head" I threatened, they chuckled.
"Feisty" one of them growled playfully, I rolled my eyes, pigs. After that, they had stopped throwing paper and I was relieved.
