Felicity's P.O.V

We all hung out at Bretts house sitting in the basement. Brett was sat next to me with Cody on my other side, somewhen Brett had grabbed my hand and started playing with my fingers which cause the boys to get curious.

"So whats going on with you too?" Jackson asked, leaning forward and looking at us. Brett let go of my hand, i remained silent.

"Nothing" Brett mumbled, Cody chuckled.

"Aw c'mon man, thats the biggest lie you've told" he said, raising his brows questioningly. I groaned, covering my face.

"There's nothing going on" i stepped in, "We're just friends" i shrugged.

"Whatever" Cody chuckled, dropping it.

After Jackson asked what was going on between me and Brett, i distanced myself from Brett, not wanting that to happen again and people think im dating him. They were still here but i had found an excuse to leave the room, telling them i would be right back but i didnt fo back, i stayed in the kitchen with a cup of hot chocolate.

I just stared blankly at the wall. Thinking about everything thats happened, thinking about finding my parents, about Brett, Cass, why Aimee blushes whenever Jackson so much as glances at her, how i cant say goodbye to the care kids before i leave and lastly about the kiss.

Whats happening to me? Ive never cared about anything or anybody except from Jenna, Cass and my dog. And now im getting feelings for Brett that ive never felt before, im actually thinking about staying here a little longer after i graduate.

I sigh, resting my elbows on the counter, running a hand stressfully through my hair. All my life, all ive ever wanted to do was find my parents and now, im reconsidering?

I shook my head, i barely know Brett, im not gonna stay for him.

"Im home!" Jenna's voice called, i watched as she entered the kitchen with folders tucked under her arm, her hair in a messy ponytail and her bag hanging off her arm, "Hey Felicity" she smiled, placing the folders and her bag on the counter, going through the fridge for something.

As she went through the fridge, i looked at the folders, seeing a picture of a young boy. I grabbed the folder, opening it and reading through it.

"Is this the new care kid?" I asked while skimming through the young boys information.

"Felicity, you know you shouldn't be reading that" she scolded but didnt make a move to take it off me, "You've always had a habbit of doing that" she stated randomly.

"Sin? Thats his name?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows, looking at her, she nodded, a water bottle in her hand.

"His parents never wanted a kid, poor thing" she said sadly, "I cant event describe how much they hated the poor child" she continued.

"Why though?" I asked, she shrugged.

"Some people just dont like kids" Jenna sat beside me, "Which causes the child to be treated poorly, hardly getting food, the usual necessities etc" she mumbled.

"Why didnt they put him up for adoption?"

"I dont know, some people are stupid" she said blankly. I nodded, placing the folders back down on the counter, "That little girl you like got fostered this morning"

"Really?" I smiled, "Its about time"

"Yeah, you should've seen Damons relief, she's taken after you"

"I sure hope she doesn't play up with her new foster family" i said, she chuckled.

"I dont think she will" Jenna stated, getting up and looking through the cabinets, "I need to go shopping, how does pizza sound?" She looked at me over her shoulder.
