Alex POV
I decided I wanted to try and scare Karl. While he was changing I snuck into his closet and waited for him to be done changing. When he turned around to tell me he was done changing I pounced. I jumped on top of him, pushing him down onto the bed. I landed on top of Karl, using my elbows to help prop me up. Typical fanfic. We stayed like that for a moment, paralyzed.
"Should we watch a movie?" Karl asks trying to make things less awkward.
"Sure what movie do you wanna watch?" I reply getting off of Karl.
"Can we watch Ratatouille?!" He asks enthusiastically.
He's so cute, omg. Alex! Stop simping!
"Sure."
I check the time. It's 5:45 in the morning.
We're halfway through the movie when I get a text from my friend Clay.
Clay
Hey dude sorry, but I can't drive you to school today.
Me
That's fine I'm walking to school with my new friend
Clay
Ok, see ya at school, simp

I'm not a simp
Ugh, that asshole left me on read. He's probably making out with George somewhere. At least I have someone to walk to school with.
"Hey Alex, what time is it?"
"It's 6:45."
"Ok, thanks. We should get going at 7."
Time Skip
"Come on Karlos, let's start walking to school."
"Ok," He said, following me out the door.
It was only a 5-minute walk so we were 25 minutes early.
"Hey Karl, over here." I heard someone shout from the other side of the bus stop.
"C'mon let's go see Nick," Karl says. Nick? I have no idea who Nick is but ok.
"Hey, Karl... who is this?" A guy who I assume is Nick says. He looks me up and down. There's a hint of jealousy? on his face.
"This is Alex. He is the gnome I found in a garden."
"How dare you call me a garden gnome." I gasp sarcastically. He giggles.
The bus arrives, and everyone gets on it. I sit with Karl, and Nick sits with a guy with a pride crown, a pink shirt with strawberries, and brown hair.
