Alex POV
I'm so thankful Karl let me stay the night. I don't want to face my dad, but I'll have to go home someday. I can't stay at Karl's forever.
I finish changing, and head back to Karl's room. I find Karl zoned out thinking about who knows what.
I wave my hand in front of his face, he doesn't budge.
I shake his shoulder lightly, "Earth to Karl."
"Huh, what? S-sorry, Alex."
"No need to apologize, it's fine." I reply to him.
"Ok... do you wanna watch a movie?"
"Sure, you pick."
"Let's watch Lady and the Tramp!"
Time Skip(One hour into the movie)
Honestly, I zoned out after the first 30 minutes of the movie. I was brought out of my trance when I felt pressure on my lap. I look down to see Karl sitting on me.
Karl POV
I decided I wanted to sit on Alex's lap, because why not? I think I startled him, because he jumped when I sat do wn.
"Sorry Alex, did I scare you?"
"Yeah, but it's fine." He said giving me a reassuring smile.
We continued to watch the movie like this, until I heard snoring behind me.
I looked back to see Alex peacefully sleeping. He looked so adorable I wish I could just- Karl no! He's your best friend! Besides he would never feel the same way. There is no possibility he would ever like someone like me. I'm not even good looking. I look like a pile of honking trash. What is wrong with me? I fell in love with someone that'll never love me back.
"Hey Karl is everything ok?"
Do I tell him or should I just lie? I mean the worst that could happen is that he hates me and never speaks to me again. Or he feels the same way. The second one's alot less likely.
"Karl?"
"Alex I need to tell you something."
Hehehe cliffhanger😈🤘
