“Ok, Noah. Quit playing around. It’s really dark.” “What? I ain’t doing anything! Zelda?” Noah had cautiously shook Zelda. “Leo. Drop the anchor. Something’s wrong with her.”

Leo tried stopping the boat, but the control panel quit working. The storm kept getting stronger and stronger until the wind sounded like a distant howl of a lonely wolf and spun the ship in circles, and then a flash of light had appeared in front of Leo. Now it was dark.

“Hit the deck!” Leo exclaimed as he rushed to his friends and brought them all down to the floor out of the way of the mast if it were to fall. Then out of the blue, the ship started shaking, and it grew more violent with every minute. Water splashed onto the ship soaking the frightened friends. A crack of light reached from the sky, and in an instant, the mast fell with a loud BANG like a gunshot.
