The party of four climbed into their motorboat, slung on some life-vests, and set off with Leo at the helm.
“Man, it’s pretty foggy out here. The moisture is making my hair frizz, and bad.” Zelda complained while struggling to bring down her afro hair. How in the world does it do that? She doesn’t even have curly hair! Leo had thought to himself. Leo was so fascinated with Zelda. He’d spent lots of times in the mountains, but spending it with Zelda was special.
Just then, while the crew was gabbing about Zelda’s afro, they heard a rumble of thunder.
“What? The weather channel said it was supposed to be sunny with a bit of breeze.” Noah remarked. “You, the most intimidating guy in school, watch the Weather Channel? Ha Ha!” Mark teased. He started to do an impersonation of Noah, “Oh, don’t touch me man, ‘cause I know that there is supposed to be a thunderstorm tomorrow, and karma might just keep you outside.” Mark had started laughing uncontrollably. Noah, in a split second, had pinned him down, “You done making fun of me, Marker?” ‘Marker’ was the nickname kids gave him back in fifth grade, because mark had gotten tricked into eating one. “Yeah I’m done.” Zelda was just sitting there laughing, and then all the sudden she just stopped.
“Hey, guys… do you see anything strange?” something dark and fast had swept across Zelda’s line of vision.
