Aww yeeeaaaahh Get cha keen pants on

The door to my room burst open and Julian was standing there holding a gun and glancing around my room. "Where are they Siren?" he asked urgently. He looked deadly but hot at the same time because he was only in boxers

I looked at him confused "Where's who Julian?"

"The people, the attackers" he was now frantic. Rushing over to the bed he pulled me up and behind him. If I didn't know any better I'd think he was shielding me with his body

"No one's in here but me" I slowly explained trying to get out from behind him. His eyes surveyed the room once more before he put the gun down and wiped a hand over his tired eyes

"Night terrors again?" he asked quietly. I watched him walk over to my bed before I realised what he meant. I blushed

"Was I screaming again?" I asked sheepishly

"mm-hm" he muttered laying back and closing his eyes

"Sorry about that" I answered with a frown "Can I ask you something?"

"Go for it" he replied with his eyes closed

"Why did you have a gun?"

"I got given that gun from the..." he stopped and thought for a second "...from the company after I completed my first year of training. Sorry if that scared you but I was half asleep and you were screaming" he said with a sigh. He looked like a total badass with a gun. I mentally punched myself; I was being a perving slut. Today I was going on a date with Carter and yet I couldn't take my eyes of his chest

"Take a picture" Julian said. My eyes snapped up to meet his smirking face and I felt my face get hot

"Better not" I retorted angrily "my camera might break." He smiled but grabbed at his heart.

"Ouch that one's going to cause some permanent damage" I stalked out of the room and heard him follow me. It took five minutes of aimless walking for me to realise no one else was here. "They're all out doing official things" Julian said from behind me wistfully "I however am stuck training a newbie"

I turned to face him and understood what he was implying. I groaned angrily, "Can't we train extra long tomorrow?" I asked him hopefully

His face hardened into a no-nonsense expression and he crossed his arms. "We don't take training's lightly here. An extra training might save your life in the field one day"

His little speech had me tripping out, the most I got from him was little gestures or expressions, like I only got half smile or tiny shrugs. But apparently when it came to the mafia he became an all business sort of person. Picking up a banana he threw it towards me and headed out of the kitchen. "Training starts in the gym in ten minutes"

I scowled and trudged up the stairs to get changed. I multi-tasked and was down in the gym in two minutes. Through my thinking I came to the conclusion that if I started training earlier I'd be let off earlier and I didn't have to deal with Julian for as long. I walked over to a treadmill and started her up on a slow jog. After half a mile I stepped it up and I was running hard but not quite a sprint. My legs felt good and I could feel the blood pounding through my body. My breathing was heavy but right now I felt fine, the pain would come after...it always did. After three and a half miles I decided to push myself to a sprint for the last half mile. My legs were pretty much bounding over the machine and my arms were moving fast. I reached the imaginary finish line in my head and I stopped the machine. I hopped off the treadmill and wobbled uncertainly on the stable ground.

My breathing now hurt, it felt like I had swallowed a fire ball that had caught in my throat but was slowly spreading through my lungs. Pacing around the room, I pulled my hands behind my head and closed my eyes.

"That was...irresponsible to say the least" I turned to see a business faced Julian. Only his eyes showed his furious feelings. I shrugged not able to get words out of my flaming throat. My chest was heaving and I lowered myself to the ground. "That is more damaging to your body than obesity. That's not a training work ethic it just shows how reckless you are"

His arms were folded and his eyes flashed dangerously waiting for my reply. Usually I would try to avoid a fight but I was too exhausted. "My body my rules." And that single comment started my doom. He stalked over to a corner and picked up some gloves to brutally throw at me.

"I knew it; I mean the attitude matches the powerful father perfectly. You have no sense of responsibility because you've never needed to watch out for anyone but yourself" I think I could've handled him yelling but he was speaking calmly as if we were discussing the weather.

"Yes because in your 17 years of living you have defended the world single-handedly and understand the meaning of responsibility completely unlike us lesser and lower beings" I pulled at the gloves and walked up to him.

"Try to punch me; I want to see how your basic defence and offense is. And if you slack off you'll be running more laps. You made the mistake with the run and now it's time to live with it" I shrugged indifferently and hid my anger. Instead I pretended to stretch while assessing Julian. He was insanely tall but that didn't stop him from being graceful and fast. In shorter words he was a dangerous bada*s. However I was smaller and probably faster, getting a punch to connect with his face should be easy. I stepped forward and threw a straight, hard right. Seconds before my fist came crashing down on his nose, his face shifted to the side. I stumbled from the lack of connection and quickly spun around throwing another punch and a kick. Again I missed, and again, and again, this went on for another ten minutes and by this time I was coming harder and faster but still failing to get him.

"Alright that's enough" Julian said standing back and letting his hands drop to his side

"What are you talking about I haven't even hit you yet" I complained

"No but I didn't expect you too. Maintaining speed and strength was what I was looking at" he explained packing things away

"Because I'm your partner and close to finishing my training I'll be your part time mentor. You other Mentor hasn't been chosen yet but I'm sure it'll be someone adequate" he straightened up and looked at me. "That's training over for today" and with that he strode out of the room.

To overlook Julian's good looks would be a crime but he was so reserved, almost secretive. He seemed most comfortable in his element which happened to be training and fighting. From the little dodging I had seen the guy was either a machine or a God. However he didn't reveal himself. He was only business and I got the feeling that's all he'd ever be with me, nothing more and nothing less. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the cold water while my thoughts turned to my coming date with Carter.

SOOOOOOO? y'all know the drill
