Note: This Chapter is all about Atsumu and Osamu's life before meeting the others. So if y'all suddenly get confused on what happened, this is the answer :).
3rd Person's POV
Atsumu and Osamu wasn't born as humans. They were actually born as foxes. Their mom and dad are foxes.
As for a normal world, foxes can't really be turned into a human as it is scientifically impossible. Well that's what they thought, little did the humans know that animals, can actually really think like people. Not all kinds of animals tho.
Some of these are as mentioned, foxes, cats, squirrel, mouse, tiger and etc. Mostly furry animals are the ones who can obtain this kind of ability. Over the century, animals slowly learned the way for them to blend into humans. 10% of the population in the whole world are animals that can turn into humans. Only a few people knew about this and it was also kept as a secret.
As was said before, Atsumu and Osamu was fox when they were born. The placed they used to live were in the middle of a forest. Their mother and father had a small cozy cottage in the said forest.
The twins lived there for almost half of their lives. Their foods are human foods because their mother wanted them to get used to it. At the age of 1-4, they still didn't know how to change themselves into humans or half human, as it is quite impossible to learn it at a very young age.
Per instance, Osamu fully learn how to be a half fox at the age of 7 while it took Atsumu another year for that to happen. Their parents were there to help them. The hardest part of controlling the said ability was hiding their tales and ears. This was the hardest part because at some accidents, you can show your half form unknowingly.
Keeping your tail and ears for a long time will be a bit hard and needed a lot of practice. Osamu got used to it after doing it for atleast 7 years (so he just finally mastered it at the age of 14)
While Atsumu really took him much longer because he didn't want to be a full human. Him not wanting to be one makes it harder for his parents because Atsumu didn't want to practice it. He always stayed on half fox or full fox form. Even at the present time, Atsumu could only hide his tail and ears for a full day without showing his tail and ears even for a second. After that, he gets really tired, feeling that his energy got drained which is the feeling that he doesn't want to feel. If Osamu hadn't pushed him into trying it, Atsumu probably can't do it or won't last much longer than an hour.
Osamu could hide his tail and ears as long as he desires. It wasn't easy for him at first but he's used to it.
Atsumu was the oldest yet he acts like the youngest most of the time which Osamu didn't mind. Most people would even confused themselves on who is really the oldest among the twins.
When it comes to their family, Atsumu and Osamu's parents were the best parents the twins could have. They love them equally and took care of them. Their parents usually talks about the human place where they used to go. Their parents just decided to go live in a forest because they find it much easier for them and their kids.
The twins always loved when their parents talk about how great the city was. So at the age of 18, both twins went to the city. They didn't run away from their parents, their parents insisted that they needed to go out and explore the world. Which means leaving their parents behind. It was actually a traditional in their family but it's still hard for the twins and their parents to let them go.
It wasn't anything forceful, they can choose to not leave their place if they wanted to but they also wanted to know the other places are like.
In a few years, the twins kept hopping on places to places. Searching for the perfect place they want. Osamu was the one working because he's scared at the fact that his brother can't last too long outside hiding his form.
The boys visited different places. They met new people but didn't last long together with them because the twins wanted to move around places. A place after a place until they got into the place they are now.
Atsumu meeting Sakusa and Osamu meeting Suna. In my opinion, I think they won't be moving anytime soon.
