Prompt: The twins are unable to trick you because you like Fred

Word Count: 701

Fred had developed a big crush on you, something that George had been taunting him about relentlessly over the last few weeks. His brother managed to keep it to himself for the most part, which he was thankful for - he did not want you to find out yet. He thought that he was so slick about keeping his crush on you a secret - completely unaware that you knew.

The twins had been following you around through the courtyard for the last fifteen minutes, purposefully trying to annoy you. Fred was mostly trying to make you laugh while George tried irritating you - but you found both of them adorable.

"Y/N, tell George to shut up please." George exclaims from your right, shooting a look at his brother. You turn to face George and raise an eyebrow, looking him up and down.

"No, George." You respond, a smug smirk on your lips as you successfully dodge his attempt to confuse you.

George raises his hand to his chest and gasps dramatically, exchanging a look with Fred. "I am Fred!" He exclaims at you as he pretends to be offended. You roll your eyes and look over at Fred. He gives you a smirk and takes a seat beside you. "I thought you knew us better, love." He says, playing along with his brother.

"I do know you, Fred." You respond, crossing your legs and smiling at him.

"You couldn't possibly." George argues, pouting at you. "I am Fred!" He continues his game.

"Oh really?" You challenge, tilting your head at him. He nods apprehensively, wondering what you are planning. You look between the two brothers, neither letting up on the silly game. So you stand up from where you were sat beside Fred and approach George, looking up at him. You see him gulp, probably from your close proximity, and your smirk grows. "Okay then, Fred. You win." You say, placing your arms around the tall boy and giving him a big hug, watching Fred as you do so. George stands stiff in your arms, exchanging a look with his brother.

You watch smugly as Fred tenses in his seat and glares at his brother jealously. "Hmm," You mutter as you snuggle into George's stiff chest further, smiling right at Fred.

"Okay okay that's enough!" Fred exclaims, crossing his arms over his chest and dramatically pouting.

"How'd you know?!" George exclaims when you release him. You shake your head and retake your seat beside Fred, leaning your head on his shoulder, making him perk up. He stiffens for a moment before relaxing under your touch - unlike his brother.

"It's easy. I know you guys better than you think." You say, nuzzling closer to Fred. "I also know that George has the biggest crush on Angelina, and not me." You continue, winking at the standing brother. He looks between the two of you for a moment before realization hits him and he points at you guys.

"She knows!" He hollers at Fred, who stiffens once again. "Freddie, she knows!"

"Shut up, moron!" Fred scolds, making you chuckle.

"If you're referring to the fact that Fred here has a bit of a crush on me, no, I don't know anything about it." You announce. George's eyes widen before he doubles over laughing. You move away from Fred to take a look at his blushing face as he glares at his brother. "Aw Freddie, it's okay. You're just not as subtle as you may think you are." You say, leaning your arm on his shoulder, looking up at him. He huffs and you think he is just the cutest. "You're also a bit oblivious." You continue, raising a brow at him, waiting for him to get the message. He looks between you and George, wondering what he is not understanding.

"Bloody hell mate! She's all over you!" George shouts. Realization clicks in Fred and you laugh.

"Ah ha! You noticed!" You exclaim, moving back from him.

"Hey, get back here." He groans, pulling you back against him, tossing his arm over your shoulder.

"Eww, oh no is this what I'll have to deal with now?" George complains, making you laugh and Fred glare at him.
