PLEASE WHY DID I NEVER FINISH THIS CHAP

George tosses around in his bed, switching from his right side to his left side. He groans, finally giving up on continuing to sleep. It's all he has been wanting to do recently, just sleep, and sleep, and sleep.

Things have been at a stand-still with Dream. The jokes and flirting are still the same, they haven't changed frequency nor intensity. George wishes something would change with him, maybe he flirts back or discussed where his heads at. However, Dream doesn't talk about anything, so George doesn't think he'll bring up how he feels.

George sits up in his bed and yawns. He moves his legs to get off the bed, but jumps at a sudden loud noise. He leans over to peek off his bed to see that the noise was just that his phone fell. He groans softly then steps off the bed and reaches down to pick it up, worried that the drop cracked the screen.

He flips the phone over to check the screen and his heart stops. The phone isn't cracked, but his breath gets caught in his throat as he stares down at the phone. He begins to freak out as he eyes the phone worriedly.
"Dream? Dream?" he yells slightly, trying to wake the younger man. Unfortunately, George receives no response.

He squints, biting his lip as he stares at the phone screen, studying and trying to depict what he sees. He tries to imagine the angle of the phone to help him figure out what he sees, which actually helps him. He begins to pick out shapes and lines, forming them into a chin and a bottom lip. He studies the features; follows the shape and thickness of the bottom lip and the chin and the sharp angle of the jaw that he can see. The shapes begin to move—Dream begins to move—which terrifies George so much he ends the call.

George almost saw Dream's whole face. He clicks on the text messages and quickly types out a text to Dream, "Uh, you accidentally cut on your camera in your sleep.. I ended the call so I wouldn't see anything, I know you like your privacy." He drops his phone on his bed after he hits send then sighs and collapses onto his back on the bed. He lets out a deep breath of air as he covers his eyes with his palms, rubbing them gently as he tries to comprehend what just happened.

"Why would you watch? You're a fucking idiot" George tells himself out loud. He hits himself lightly on the head and sits up again. It's okay, he reassures himself, you told Dream you didn't see anything. The truth is he barely saw anything, really, but he still feels extremely fucking guilty.

Like always, George's mind begins to wander to something completely different yet so equal. He thinks about Dream's face and the situation, then wonders if Dream would be okay with George seeing his face on accident. He wonders how Dream would reveal his face to him; would he wear a mask to the airport or straight up show his face? Dream never escapes his mind, George concludes as he stands up to go to his kitchen.

As he makes himself some breakfast, he thinks about the night before.George told Dream he was falling in love, and Dream heard and ignored him. George frowns as he mixes his ingredients together. His mind begins to fill with even more thoughts, but this time they're worse. He begins to question Dream and his feelings, he questions his actions and words, he questions his feelings. Is Dream still crushing on George? Maybe their time apart has severed their feelings , so Dream doesn't feel the same anymore and he doesn't want to hurt George.

George groans, bending down to place his head on the counter. He holds his head as he controls himself to not bang it in frustration. His phone dings so he reaches for it and opens the notification. His phone pulls up the text messages, causing George's eyes to widen in fear. He reads the message carefully, his breath becoming rigid.

Dream<3
I'm glad. You didn't see anything did you?

George frowns at the response to his previous text. He thinks of teasing, flirting, but for some reason he decides not to. It's starting to seem right not to. Is this what is supposed to happen, George thinks, are they supposed to not try and just forget about their feelings?
