The question of what, or who was out there, kept repeating my head. Was it an animal, a stranger that followed me, or worse? I force myself to do my breathing practice, taking deep breath of the chilling air. 1,2,3. The repeated excerise of breath relaxing my shoulder. Determination of survival was the only thing in my mind, I couldn't give up now. No, I won't stop, not now. I came here this far, I can't stop. Taking a full and long inhale, I crept closer to the high wall of bricks, that acted like a fence. But I was not that secured inside these walls, the fact there was a hole. That acted as a door which would of been a gate.

But me- myself- and I, thought it was dumb to do. I mean who is out there trying to intrude my home, to kill or harm me. During the situation right now, I highly regret it, because there might be a person trying to do it right now. The heavy footstep I heard stop my thoughts, it must be a man I thought, the heavy sounds and the crunching of the leaves and the shaking of the ground wasn't something that wouldn't belong to a woman no matter the size. It had to be a type of animal but the fact that is was a big one I hesitated a moment before inching closer to the hole, peeking. Gasping I pressed my back further into the wall. The realization that it was actually a man, bring fear.

But the fact it was a tall lean muscular with ridges of muscle on his arms one and not a small, skinny ass man, made things worse. I kept repeating to myself, I can do this. I can do this, I can do this. But my feet stayed still to the floor. The hell I thought, I was never afraid of men, but there was something about this one in particular that set me on edge.

Curious I look back, frowning when I couldn't see the frame of the man. The realization that he wasn't close gave me a chance. I stood out of my protection of a wall. Seeing the man pause, caused me to move quickly back to my wall. I froze in the fear, the sounds of the forest also stopped. As if it was responding to my fear or was it just my ears that were ringing. After a moment I pinched my leg, the pain shocking me out of my frozen state. Taking a deep breath of the air I push my body further in to the walls surface, letting its shadow cover me. The moon reflecting on his face caused me to see his smirk. I whipped back me head, mt breath stuttering. Frowning I thought of why was he? Did he see me? Or is that smirk constantly sitting there? Mustering up courage, I looked back but he was gone, I stepped out looking around. Seeing his footsteps on the dirt, I stared wide eyed. The hell, he must have huge feet! The surprise quickly went away. The lingering scent of his smell. My blood froze-
It was the smell of blood.
