Chapter fourteen: Jump

How dare you guess what this chapter was gonna be called, you intelligent being...

Blood, sweat, and tears. The smell was filling the air. On the ground, it was enough for a " wet floor" sign.

Panting, Midoriya tried to catch his breath. " U-usagiyama-sensei... A-are we... Done?"

She bouncing up and down, looking like she could devour anyone that stepped on her path. Then, she threw out kicks. Imagining a person was in front of her, a front kick to their stomach. Then switching to a different leg, she gave a sidekick. Lastly, swiftly spinning around, a final blow. Roundhouse kick to the skull. The air pressure whistled, as she came to a stop.

Mina, who was on the ground exhausted from previous activities, was stunned by the quick performance displayed.

" w-whoa... That was cool." she let out, sounding a bit out of breath.

The rabbit hero shared a smirk, " Glad you like it. And with a day's work of this, not to mention practicing after the internship is over, you can get like me!". Ending her statement, she flexed. Her toned muscles perked out; the light glistened off the sweat on her skin.

Ashido popped up from the ground, all fatigue seemed to disappear as she flexed too. " Hell yeah! ". Midoriya sighed, the two were very positive. If only he had their qualities, maybe he could improve faster.

The rabbit heroine looked at the boy, seeing a small smile on his face. " Ah, looks who's smiling. C'mon, and get up, time to get to work.". She walked over to her phone and bottle. She clicked on her phone and read the time. " hmm. Alright," she said, picking up both.

" you two go get ready for patrol.". She walked out without another word. It came off weirdly. But what can they say about what's weird or not? They haven't been with her for more than a day.

" She's amazing. Ain't she? I see why you like her so much!" Mina said shortly after the rabbit hero left. Midoriya blushed from the compliment To his passion.

" y-yeah... she is amazing." He kept calm to not let his fanboy out. One mention of Mirko and he'll just go on and on. He had already done once in class, the. bakugou was the only one who attempted to shut him up.

Mina knew him long enough to know he wanted to. A smirk crept on her face as she continued to say more. " y'know, She has a toned body. Do you know anything about that?" She leaned into him, making him stubble on his sore legs.

" T-toned body? " a blushes a bit more, the mention of a toned body, especially a woman's," I-I uhm... I-I do, I suppose...".

" Mind telling me her secret? Then I can show it off! If you know what I mean~" she flexed it up, then winking.

The flustered Midoriya slightly hid his face, the teasing was getting to him, and his embarrassment only fueled Mina to continue. Yet, she knew it wasn't the time to keep going with it.

" Don't get all shy on me, we have a patrol to do so", she grabbed his hand and tugged him along," let's get going!".

While getting pulled, He took a look at her face. It was only filled with determination and excitement. The sight brought a smile to his face, she wasn't only doing it for him, but the benefit for them both.

A rabbit's foot into a villain's face, as he shot back into a wall, knocked out by the force of the impact. Landing on two feet, she turned to the two student heroes who were finishing off their share of the fight.

" Take this!" Mina shouts her attack as she punches her villain with a hand full of acid. The villain was stunned back, holding his cheek while it burned at an unnecessary rate. Her control over her quirk was still lob-sided but with enough practice, she can take down low villains without too much harm.

She gave another war cry before delivering the final that knocked the villain down to the floor unconscious. Clenching her fist, she throws it into the air, " Yes I got him!".

Rumi smiled at infectious energy. Then take a look at Midoriya who was having trouble with his side. The villain seemed to have a shield-type quirk. Anything that Midoriya used range-wise, would nullify.

" Ha! Those are pathetic attempts. You should give up being a hero!" The villain spoke with bakugo type ego. But there was a hint of fear in his body. That hint only Rumi was able to hear.

' all my attacks aren't connecting. Fire, acid, electricity... all of them! But he hasn't moved at all...'. Something had clicked in the boy's brain.

With a bit of hesitation, he balled up a fist and went in. The villain's face turned to grief," hey wait, stay back-", his pleading was cut short from a punch knocking him to the side. 

" you can't move while using your quirk! I figured it out!" The boy stated.

" more like he's weak in combat." Rumi snorted, putting a hand on his shoulder. " nice job kid. "

The green nodded but lowered his head afterward," thanks..".

The rabbit hero perked a brow from his action, but let it slide for now.
