As my feet tumble
Over the edge
Briefly caught
By the railing
Before snapping, falling
Flailing as the sky
Blurs with the beige
Of the bridge
Then with the ground
The sea, the water, the river air
I see it all now
The life we live
The seed of youth
The tranquility of age
The peace of mind
Created with age
Created with wisdom
Crashing around me
As I see the view
From halfway down
The blue ground
Is slowly getting closer
I'm regretting my choices
But I'm running out of time
For once I hit the ground
My thoughts will go-

And so under I go
Sink like a stone
Under I go
To join the river
And all those souls
Who faced the same daydream:
That death, as cruel as it is, sets us free.
