Later, inside the Batcave, Nightwing and Supergirl run with Superman and Wonder Woman on their heels. Then they stop near Brother Eye, confusing Clark and Diana.
Wonder Woman: She led us right to him.
Superman: It's no accident you brought us here.
y/n: Man of Steel, brain of fluff.
Batman: Of COURSE, it isn't!
Batman appears in his Kryptonite-based armor.
Superman: I warned him about Diana, but I didn't believe you'd turn on me!
y/n: Join the club we've got jackets.
Superman turns and nods to Wonder Woman, who draws her sword and turns to take on Batman and Nightwing. Despite being a goddess, she had already proven she was no match for Nightwing. You add Batman to that equation... she's gonna have a bad time.
Superman: You should want Brainiac dead more than anyone. Instead, you're undermining me.
Supergirl: Thank Rao your father can't see you. When General Zod tried to take over Krypton, Jor-El led the fight against him! THAT's who you come from.
She approaches Superman and touches the "S" on his chest.
Supergirl: THAT's who you are, Kal! Not this!
Superman swats her hand away.
Superman: If Jor-El had been more like Zod, he might have SAVED Krypton! And I will save the Earth!
One would think this would be a repeat of the fight at the Fortress of Solitude. But Superman was not at full strength yet. And, though he probably wouldn't admit it, he was holding back in deference to his kin. Not anymore. Superman shows Supergirl just what a fully-charged, fully-angered Kryptonian is capable of... and Kara pays the price! But Superman is not happy with what he just did. He walks over to the unconscious Supergirl
Superman: I'm sorry...
Meanwhile, Wonder Woman puts up a decent fight against the two sons of the night.
Batman: You can't win Diana.
y/n: Yeah, I mean I already kicked your ass once and now I have help!
They speak the truth, with the two's might they overcome the queen of the supers. They then go to the enraged Superman.
Batman: Your war is over!
Batman leaves Wonder Woman to lay unconscious as he goes to where Superman laid Supergirl out. Superman stands. Nightwing tends to Supergirl.
y/n: Please be alive, do it for me Kara.
He places his hand to her neck.
Batman: Pulse?
y/n: ...
Batman: ...
y/n: She's alive.
All three let out a sigh if relief.
Superman: Fighting on the same side, it felt like old times. But I guess we both knew it would end this way.
Batman: Do you remember that night? When you told me Lois was pregnant?
Superman: You knew... even before I said anything.
y/n: I was so happy, I thought I was gonna have a brother. Well, one that liked me that is.
Superman: You were only seven years old...
Batman: That was a good memory.
Superman: From another lifetime.
