Ava's point of view
*NEXT DAY LUNCH TIME*
"Are you nervous" I asked jack.
We were in the jeep we rented and on the way to my dads for lunch.
"A little, I really want your dad to like me" He said.
We were holding hands across the center console and I was rubbing my thumb over our hands.
When we pulled up to my dads Jack got out. He was wearing a gray polo, sperrys, and tan khakis. He looked hot.
I was wearing a short black dress and heels.
My dad likes when we dress up?
"Hello Jack" he said shaking Jacks hand.
"Hi" Jack said.
"Hi Ava" My dad said kissing my cheek.
"Come in" My dad said leading us to the dining room.
We sat down and got served a turkey.
"So dad what is it you wanted to speak about" I asked.
"Oh yeah were swag" My dad said.
Jack and I laughed.
"I can be hip" He defended himself.
"ok back on topic" my dad chuckled.
"Well you see, I'm going to be traveling globally for my work. I want you to take this house, you have a kid on the way and everything" My dad said.
"Wow mr.green really?" Jack asked in shock.
"Really?" I said in shock.
"Yes" My dad said.
"I'll come on many of your friends birthdays so I can get out of work, but I'll be back on holidays, I mean this house has 6 rooms, enough for one guest" My dad explained.
"Thank you so much dad" I said so happy.
Shoot how do I tell my friends.
"Now you guys can look around the house because Ava you have only been here once a couple years back so go look around, I have a meeting I have to get to. See you later" my dad kissed my cheek and shook Jack's hand.
"Wow I can't believe this is our house" I said.
"Me either" Jack said.
We looked around the big bedrooms and we were both really happy.
"Amazing house" Jack said.
"This house is right in Chino Hills which is where I wanted it" I said.
Jack agreed with me.
"Hey honey I wanted to say I'm leaving for Africa tonight so bye!! I'll be back for your birthday and the baby's birth and some over the summer" My dad said planting a kiss on my cheek.
"Jack, take care of my daughter" My dad told him and hugged him.
My dad took his luggage and ran out the door. Probably late for his flight.
The rooms were all really big and nice. The master bedroom was downstairs and it was absolutely gorgeous.
Theres a finished basement.
<A/N IM NOT SURE IF THERE IS BASEMENTS IN CALI BUT OH WELL>
Just everything about this house is perfect. I would definitely want to raise a family here.
"Wow this house" Jack said.
"I know right" I smiled.
"Your beautiful" He said and kissed me.
