Ruby's POV (once again)
It's been about a month since I've arrived in the glade. Here I am staring with great shock and excitement at 'the box'.
It was a girl. The fact that I wasn't gonna be the only girl now, made me very happy, but worried at the same time. "It's another girl?!" Gally shouted. "I'm not going down to get it, I don't know what her kind does." He said.
"Are you kidding me?" I retorted. "I've been here for a month and you don't know what 'my kind' does?"
"I still don't trust you." Gally sassed.
"Ugh. Fine. You guys don't want to get her, I'll do it." I told them.
"Babies." I said under my breath.
I had finally jumped down the box and slowly made my way to her. That's when she woke up gasping and panting, making all of us jump back slightly.
Then she turned to Thomas.
"Thomas!" She whisper/shouted.
She then turned to me. "Ruby!"
Then she just passed out. Everyone stared at her with confusion, including me and Thomas, then looked at us.
"There something you want to tell us?" Gally finally broke the silence. "What?" I asked.
"She knew you guys."
"So? Doesn't mean we know her.""Actually..." Thomas came in.
"Uh, I had those visions when I was stung. And.. I- Um...""Just spit it out!" I shouted pulling out my machete.
"Ok! Ok!" Just put that down!" He retorted.
I put my weapon back down.
"I can't tell you right now..."
Hours later (cause writer's lazy right now)
I came out of the Homestead to a bunch of screaming boys. I look up to see rocks and twigs flying out of the look out tree.
"Oh, she's awake." I said to myself. I ran up the steps of the tree to find the greenie standing there throwing rocks and laughing.
She quickly turned around and pointed a rock at me.
"Woah! Calm down!" I began. "I-I'm not gonna hurt ya. I'm Ruby. And this is the glade. If you don't have any memory, that's normal, but you should get your name in a fe-""Teresa."
"What?"
"My name's Teresa."
"Oh, uh ok. Well like I said before, I'm Ruby." I said holding out my hand, giving her a warm and welcoming smile which she gladly returned.
"So," Teresa began. "Wanna join me?" She asked, holding out a rock."Oh, um, I really shouldn't, I was supposed to get you down and one of them's my boyfriend-"
"Come on! It'll be fun" she sang.
"Oh! Alright!" I giggled, taking the rock from her hand.
We were throwing rocks and laughing to each other for was seemed like hours until we heard footsteps."Ruby?" An accent said. "You joined her?!"
I quickly hid the rock behind my hand. "Uh- No! W-why would you think that?" I laughed awkwardly.
"So-Um.. This is Teresa." I said pointing to her.
I knew this was gonna be the start of a wonderful friendship.
