It's been 3 months since Mara has hung out or gone on a date with Phee. 3 months since Phee told her that she made a new friend named 'John'. They are still together but Phee doesn't take time to acknowledge that now. She's always busy hanging out with John. And when they do hang out it's with Charlie and Daniel. Today makes it worse because today is their one-year anniversary. But Phee is busy hanging out with John again today. So, Mara goes to Charlie's room to hang out. "3 months Mara. You need to break it off, it's hurting you too much." Charlie tells her. "But I love her Charlie." Mara tries to argue, knowing it won't do anything. "She's coming over, told her it was urgent." Charlie says getting up off the bed. "Wait now? I'm not ready" Mara says panicking. Just then there is a knock on the door. "Today Mara." Charlie says before opening the door. "Hi Charlie, you said to was urgent?" Phee says clueless what to come. "Yes, it is but Mara is the one that needs to tell you." Charlie says pointing to Mara, who waves. Charlie walks out but turning back to Mara. "Now." She says in a stern voice. "Okay so what's up Mara?" Phee says. "3 months." Mara tells Phee. "What?" Phee confused says. "3 months since we hung out alone. 3 months since we went on a date. 3 months since we last kissed." Mara tells her tears coming out of her eyes as she hugs herself, head hung down. "Mara..." Phee says realizing what she done. "3 months since you told me you love me. 3 months since he came into your life." Mara says getting angry. "Mara, I didn't realize. I'm sor- "Phee is cut off by Mara. "Do you even know what today is?" Mara asks Phee. "Today?" Phee ask confused. "You don't remember. Do you even care?" Mara asks chuckling. "Mara get to the point your scaring me." Phee says not liking how she laughed. "Today is our one-year anniversary." Mara says just above a whisper, but Phee can hear her. Phee's eyes widen. She forgot. "Oh, oh my gosh I forgot. I met John at the Maximum for breakfast." Phee says. Mara shakes her head. "That's just it." Mara says getting up. "What?" Phee says confused. "John this and John that. It's always him. It's only him now. It's not me anymore." Mara says looking at Phee with tears streaming down. "Mara" Phee says tears now coming out. "I love you Phee. I love you so much. But this is hurting me too much." Mara says heart hurting. "No Mara wait we can fix this. I love you and only you." Phee says hoping it would solve everything. She goes closer to Mara going to touch her arm. Mara pulls back. "It's too late for that now Phee. There's too much damage here." She says moving around Phee to the door. Before she gets to the door Phee speaks. "B-but we could fix it. Like you said. To fix any size mess we just have to fix it piece by piece." Phee tells her not giving up. "You're too late. I can't do this anymore." Mara says walking to the door. "Wait Mara, Can I just have one more kiss?" Phee asks. Mara sighs. She walks back over to Phee and kisses her one last time. They feel the fireworks they had since they first kissed. They tasted that watermelon strawberry mix for that last time before they part. Tears both streaming down their face. "I'm sorry Mara. I love you and always will." Phee says putting her forehead on Mara's. Mara kisses Phee's forehead and walks out of the room. Mara looks back one more time and walks out of the room. Phee falls to the floor sobs escaping her mouth.
