Beomgyu has a very energetic and chaotic personality that is unmatched by others. No one understands how he has so much energy and how loud he can be. Harmlessly a joke overall, he's a great friend to be around and someone you can go to to get your energy back up.

He only joined Bighit as a trainee at the age of sixteen which was pretty young, especially on top of high school, but he was able to manage it. He'd be a normal yet chaotic high school student while being a trainee at the same time. He'd take classes he wanted, especially in the art of dance, which was crucial to the requirements of his future job. He'd work with students and with trainees all the time and it all felt normal. That is until he met Kang Taehyun, a freshman and beta just like him. A trainee of Bighit wants to debut as well. He's heard the boy has great talent. He's incredibly good at singing, and great at dancing, and he's heard Taehyun is also beautiful. He never thought he'd actually meet the younger until he met Hueningkai, a young alpha who joined Bighit not too long after both Beomgyu and Taehyun.

And oh, indeed the sayings of the beta are true. He's beautiful, sings as an Angel sent from the gods, and dances with meaning and purpose.

"Woah..." Beomgyu reacts to Taehyun's capabilities, stunned.

"I know right?!" Hueningkai claps for his friend that just finished practicing his part.

Taehyun walks over to Hueningkai, and the two start a friendly conversation. Just then, Yeonjun nudges his side raising his eyebrows up and down. "Aye, Beomgyu, you got someone on your mind?" In response, he kicks Yeonjun off his seat.

"Hyung! Are you okay??" Soobin goes to the older male who brushes the incident off. In the background, he can hear Wooyoung cackling and Yeosang the beta scolding the omega to quiet down.

"Huh, are you Choi Beomgyu?" Taehyun leans forward in his seat to see the other beta. When he gets a clearer look at the older, he's impressed with his visuals. "Wow, it is true, you're very handsome up close."

Beomgyu, who was not expecting the younger to be so straightforward, left him speechless. Kang Taehyun knows him? Taehyun's even heard that Beomgyu has incredible visuals. He's even impressed by it!

"Yep!" Hueningkai butts in.

"Everyone!" The trainees in the practice room turn to their instructors with confused looks. Only half of them had gone through a run-through of their practices. "Unfortunately, we were called to discuss an important meeting. So everyone is dismissed for the night."

Everyone cheers and gathers their personal items, packing, and getting together to plan a meal for the night.

"Hey, guys!" Wooyoung skips up to Beomgyu, Hueningkai, and Taehyun. Soobin, Yeosang, and Yeonjun are following right behind the omega. "What's up?" Beomgyu fist bumps the older with a grin.

The latter smiles in return. "Wanna go out and eat dinner together? Just the seven of us!" The idea sounds great. Beomgyu thinks it also allows him to get to know Taehyun better, hoping to be great friends during his trainee time.

"Hell yeah!" Hueningkai agrees. "C'mon guys, I'm starving as well." The youngest complaints.

Next thing Beomgyu knows, he's sitting between Yeonjun and Taehyun and the environment of the ramen shop they're in is very calming, unlike Yeonjun who's trying to choke Wooyoung next to him. It's late at night and it feels unreal to hang out at this time for dinner.

Beomgyu's never really noticed it, but Taehyun smells so sweet and calm... vanilla. Though it may sound ordinary, Beomgyu likes everyday things and either way, the latter's scent is welcoming and calming. He feels embraced and feels comforted. Then he wonders what Taehyun thinks about his scent, amber. His thoughts are taken away when someone shifts a topic onto him.
